Quads for sure with the ability to Hull Down. They would become fantastic scout and sniper units. The LAMs I don't like unless you're going to incorporate all aerospace aspects of the game. Planetary landings with contesting the landing site would then make LAMs worth putting in. Of course who would really want to take one up against a dropship with escorts only to be expected to convert to mech mode and fight some more when the enemy starts unloading their walkers. That has death wish written all over it.

Cool idea with LAM. Transform and spear another mech while maintaining velocity. Careful considering these mechs are very fragile

Responding to the people who say that Lam mechs would be UNbalanced, they were extremely fragile and one could also put an altitud roof

Even if it's not canon... I'd like to see amphibious mech. I never expect to see this, but I still think it's be nifty.

4 legged mechs also = first logical step in making real mechs, as they really don't require the same kind of gyro balancing as a 2 legged mech would.

ok agro-mech check!!

quad mech check!!

Lam no check!! The only way I would want a lam in game is if it was part of a special event "spot the lam" take a screen win a rondom prize

or even special event "shoot the lam" would be even better, get the kill and win a unique salvage!!

I'd really like a word from the devs at least on the matter of quadroped Mechs, tbh. And no, not just "word" as reply, but if we can at some point expect them in game or not.

LAMs aren't worth the effort. Quads would be cool though.

This actually would be a great idea. it would really give us a chance to see how those types of mechs have progressed over this time. I can honestly say i would like to see this alot. Air related super light mechs dropping supplies to keep the mechs in the battle last longer. allow air combat to influence the game in alot of ways. From dropping heavy bombs to dropping of supplies or repair related equipment. i think that this would be really cool and the devs should look into it.

Wouldn't that savage involve parts from the LAM. So there could be the chance of getting the transformation matrix

I know I am in the minority but I would rather see LAMs before I saw quads - by canon there were 3 LAMs but only 1 quad from memory & LAMs were much better from the point of view of agility on the battlefield - they didnt have same armour & weapons of their same weighted counterparts which means they were not as powerful in those areas. Lams would make great scout class mechs

As per canon, mechs are fully capable of operating underwater so long as cockpit and life support work.
And SRM/LRMs can be swapped with torpedos.

Quads are a good idea, especially for a stable gun platform.

I would like the concept of a LAM but i think the programming for the two or three modes woukd be too much hassle (I guess, cos I'm no programmer or developer!). Plus they are heinously rare and expensive in this era, so they coukd be incorporared as a curiosuty or missiin objective maybe...

I support both if the developers can do them correctly. If not then don't rush it until it can be done and then bring them in a few at a time.

The only mech that should be included is the Mighty Urban Mech. After that what is else would anyone want to use. It brings fear (and uncontrollable laughter) to those face it on the battlefield. The Urban Mech Pilots are fearless and psychotic (these two are a given of course). Quad and LAM Mech Pilots will not stand a chance against these Mighty (and Large) Trash Cans of Doom.

Viva House Kurita and The Mighty Urban Mech!!!
