Thu. August 2, 3048: Despite decade’s old grievances, FedCom/Free Rasalhague Republic trade negotiations reach new milestones.

PLEASE check your grammar and punctuation. You meant to write "decades-old", not "decade's old".

What are these grievances? FRR and Fedcom don't get along?

Official confirmation of what many private citizens in the Lyran Commonwealth have known all along; we have more in common than not with our friends in the FRR and we should concentrate on strong trade links.

FRR lays claim to some of the worlds along the Lyran border, and vice versa. In addition, there's a certain degree of animosity towards those worlds, just because they used to be Kurita.

Always thought it was strange that the FRR got along better with the DC (their former occupiers) than the FC, does anyone else think ComStar is pulling strings and playing puppet master?

ComStar is ALWAYS playing puppet master. They benefit by keeping the people of the Inner Sphere fighting each other over factional and political differences. ComStar is at the center of ALL evil in the Inner Sphere. ComStar is every bit the liberal media when they use gutter politics and backstabbing manipulative depravity not to mention domination of HPG media in BattleTech to further their goals at the expense of all of humanity.

Ah who am I kidding? "CSJ is EVIL!" :P Political correctness for the loss.

If the FRR has any brains, they should be very suspicious of ComStar and their motives......always. Because nothing says "Free" like having half of your military dominated by ROM agents and/or ComStar sympathizers. I feel sorry for the "Free" Worlds League as well.....

Decades? The FFR just turned 15 in March, 14 if we really did travel back in time.

This sounds good on the surface, but...for all their claims to the contrary, I've never seen a shred of evidence that the Feds are ever looking out for anyone but themselves, and they're sly.... If it's as simple as the trade relations being good for them, too, then, wonderful for both of us. I'd be looking very closely at anything they're shipping to us though, if it were me...

FRR and DC relationship odd? Naaaa. It's kinda like USA and UK. Pretty good allies now, but that wasn't always the case.
