Hi there!!

First of all you guys are doing great!
I gave myself some minutes and just started to type! i hope u can use something here, rather than me being annoying!

I focused not specifically on small or big issues (i did kinda every issue i could think of in 15 minutes:D)

Here it goes^^ (i hope you don't mind the writing to bad^^)

- I'll start with dumbest idea of all^^ - have the possibility to form a mech out of 2 mechs on the battlefield! For example u have xx amounts of tons u can carry and u have enough slots left (i dunno how much..) u see a small jenner running, almost shot to pieces. U 'fuse' with it (only possible when one of the 2 aint shot yet!) so u get 1 walker and shooter with (between legs or ontop of head) the jenner attached --> it jumped on it
-->As i sead this is dumbest idea^^ might give ppl some ideas tough

- i dunno i don't have a key so i hope u guys have some cool sounds when getting hits (Biep biep wieouw wowowowiiiii i-i-i-i like this:D)

- The eject possibility chould remain! when u are to die, u hear alot of 'beeps' and a womans voice 'eject please' so u can see the battlefield below!

-might introduce some sort of foot army fighting along (just as some bullets/beams fuzzing around your head --> to get more in battle mood!) --> this army doesn't do dmg to you, and if u'd see it possible it might just start to win/lose along with you.

- Definitely something cool: make it able to create your pilot! (i dont mean rly adjust alot, but some smaller stuff)

- Make it possible to adjust some minor color to the mechs

- If u change a weapon (i got this idea from looking at the trailer where u adjusted a mech -took Ac20 off/ Ac5 on etc.) also change it .. --> now u put a machien gun and ac5 instead of ac20 but the shoulder still looks the same.

- Something i wonder at when i think at 'gundam wings' some sort of co-op where to capture a base (large amounts of enemy's (also with smaller mechs) and about 20-30 ppl working toghetter !!)--> seriously would be nice! altough verry heavy for the pc's i guess

(- Encrease the closed beta a bit so see if your servers can handle) --> this u will do with open beta so never mind^^

Grtz from me!

PS: i'm rly excited!

i dont know if youv seen toppa tengen gurren laggen, but that idea totaly reminded me of it XD

also about the sounds, they have some pretty good sounds, i have 5.1 surroundsound headphones, makes me feel like im actualy in the mech :D

the eject kinda kills the point of the not being able to get out of the mech idea, although, it would be cool seeing a guy eject out when the mech dies

the foot army is a good idea, but it would probly be a added graphics option, some ppls computers wont be able to take the added framrate

as of right now about the wepon's looks thing, it more has to do with the diffrent mech types of the same mech eg. atlas has a couple diffrent types

also about the little mech idea, i like it, but i think it would be cool if there were just senarios, like a co-op style singleplayer mode

about the colour change, i want this also

What also would be nice is to have a chance to accept a melee fight from an enemy (only when lasts left in 200 meters all round)

u would have option to go to a 3th person vision and use a 'yes here it comes!' light sabre!!! (like gundam wings) --> u could accept such a fight, or u could just decline it and shoot its head off:D --> problem would be atlas etc. is to slow for this so it would only work with smaller ones...

But hey its an idea;)

1] I think that salvaging should eventually be added in. I remember fondly having to escort around my three mobile repair trucks which would also carry salvage and spare parts. It certainly added a new tension to the battlefield when you could actually lose a mech, it's parts and all the value of your pilots if the fight went poorly.
2] Please no warning sounds. If anything make that optional. (Perhaps with an option to disable auto-shutdown due to heating?) The sounds, however, should be much louder if you've just lost a limb. Impacts near the cockpit should sound like what just happened. Lasers should make a loud *thwack!* sound as they super-heat your chassis, Missiles should make a near-deafening boom and ballistics should make cracking and rattling sound with their impacts.
3] Ejecting should be added when it's actually possible to lose your pilot/actually die. The MechWarrior series (Particularly "Lone Wolf") was very fun to actually run around as just yourself in a battlefield, with the possibility of finding a mech or otherwise to pilot again. (Though ejecting, for whatever reason, killed your character...)
4] I believe the Dev team mentioned they were going to add in mortars/artillery and other support to a fight. Perhaps tanks and other units which could actually pose a threat to mechs would be nice.
5] Agreed and I believe this feature is in the works. In the game lobby/mech lab you see a blank image of a character on the upper-left. I believe that later that will be added in.
6] Yes, yes and yes. I think that applying either camouflage or clan-specific tags to your Mech's paint scheme would be a great addition.
7] It does this. Try taking a weapon off and seeing how it changes the look of the mech. Though my Catapult K2 shouldn't have those big energy guns strapped to it when it's rocking Gauss cannons.
8] That's something that would have to come much, much later, after this game is made stable and a strong foundation for the current game mode is created.

Just my thoughts. =]
