I doubt we get the ability to alter the timeline, but dammit we can go down fighting just as hard as our boys did in canon

I'm with Orcinus. And I think it would be a bit of a cop out if we won a high percentage of the player engagements with the fanclanboys but still lost the war.

While we may will win all the minor battles, unfortunately I think the Dev's are going to do something else besides player matches for major/historic matches ^_^

From what i read they will only reserve certain well known planets/systems for major timeline events and all the other Planets/systems are up for grabs by the players.

So yes i think we actually can change history to a large degree!

Thought just the border planets were up for grabs. Would be really nice if there was a way to carve out player controlled empires.

I've always craved a battletech/Mount and Blade mix game... It would be the ultimate for me I think

Keep in mind that the FRR does hold onto at least a mere 7 worlds that are left when all is said and done with the Clan Invasion. That and ComStar ( :) ) provides assistance to the FRR. Not to mention that ~SJ~ has thrown its support behind the FRR as well as attacking roundhousing the Draconis Combine even more so later on when the Clans become available.

So do not get too discouraged FRR supporters, I think theres alot of good things going for the FRR despite the bumpy road ahead. :)

Looking forward to roundhousing some Draks alongside brave FRR MechWarriors! :)

You'll forgive me if I'm not giddy that we get to hear all about Chuck Norris. Posted Image

I'm having a heck of a time figuring out all these Smoke Jaguar groups. Are you guys not with Khan Ignotus? I don't see him on the member list.

I'm pretty sure that we'll be able to hold our own fairly well, considering. Besides, we have our mead to get us through those tough times. May we always party before a battle!

We're not going strictly FRR, but the Blazing Aces are planning on working for the FRR whenever possible, and being there on the front when the Clans show up. So there's that.

Keep in mind, Mercenary, you'll have to earn our trust. Your "brothers in arms" decided to take liberties with their contracts, last time we had to deal with them. Only the Skjaldborg is trusted, and only because they are all FRR citizens. We'll be keeping a close eye...

I kind of hope they represent FRR's dislike of mercenaries in the game by making it harder to build reputation with them. I realize that's the case, but we're also pretty set on focusing on FRR.

There's a huge chance that if Goonswarm shows up in force (They probably will) they'll be going for FRR too, so it is very likely FRR will be the surprise wildcard of MWO. I will be entirely disappointed if they do not let us fight the Clans to change the timeline.
