Really wanna hear more about how the Catapult is faring against the competition, as it's one of my favorites all time.

I was in the jump jet play test... the first thing I did was kill a jump jetting Catapult with my Hunchback. Shot him right out of the sky in a shower of debris and floppy legs.

I'm sorry, that was uncalled for.

Anyways, I am wondering about the "lock-on-via-teammate's-target-lock" aspect of LRMs and how that might work into pop-up Catapults who popup outside of your Hunchie's short/medium range weapons...

Can a Cat with a "teammate Lock" do pop-ups while hiding behind a wall/ledge/berm?

No.. he wasn't invited. Plus.. he normally ends up as a pile of muck rather than flying debris.

You're correct. However a little bird told me that when Paul is force fed his meds ,he's semi-tolerable.

yes, the Jenner. Sean and Omid just took out an entire enemy team (5 vs. 5 in this case) with two Jenners. It was glorious to watch.


Paul gets a mention for going 4-0 in his Hunchback in another game.

Oh....Em....Geee...


Today's playtest focused on team/lance play. All the little happy Catapult noobs didn't realize that overloading their ammo for LRMs made them too heavy to use jump jets.. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Russ and I were scouting in Hunchbacks... yes... HUNCHBACKS.... and relaying targets back to our team... it was glorious watching the other team get rained upon from the combo Atlas and 3 Catapults. After a few kills at long range, we (Russ and I) had to move in to midfield combat. We had Jenners running around us like rats. Kyle is picking people off in the Atlas and the remaining Catapults ran distraction and softening targets... it was an orchestra of team play and we rolled over the other team.

The entire dev team is still buzzing with excitement on how that felt.

And if you must know.. I was 4-0 at the end of the match.
