^^This... gives a nice idea of today's economic realities, methinks. You would pay someone to allow him to work for him? Maybe it's me, but that sounds wrong in many ways.

Sure, I could envision myself to work for PGI in one capacity or another eventually, like many probably on these boards could, but seriously, what impression of the "workforce" you have to offer will you leave, if you actually offer to pay yourself for your work? :D

OH I don't mean full time or even as an employee doing code. I wouldn't want to take a real job from someone probably much more qualified than I to get this game out the door.

I'm thinking more like part time from 5PM to 1AM Fri/Sat maybe 2PM to 2AM on Sat/Sun and maybe a few 3-4 hours shifts during the middle of the week.. :D

There are jobs out there if I could afford to "Give my time" that I feel would be worth paying to be employed at.. and that I, at least feel I would be highly qualified for and would also be willing to pay for the privlege to work said jobs.

Not neccessarily in this order:

1) Beer taste taster (Especially a small micro-brewer)

2) Chain crew member for my favorite NFL team and or at the Super Bowl..

3) Final assembly road tester at the Viper/Corvette/Camaro/etc.. plant

4) QC at a beverly hills plastic surgeon to do an unbiased final examination of patients after thier breast agmentation has healed.

5) Last but not least Alpha/Beta tester for PGI (specifically for MW:O)

From what I can tell we aren't your typical 10-28 year old gamers.

I resent this statement, I'm only 21 and I've played pretty much all the same games as "first generation" gamers have. Mainly due to me having a awesome dad who let me play all his games XD.

Well there are those fans too.. my son is 17 and an example of that :D

That said, compared to most games I would say MW:Os hard core fans are "Probably" a bit older, and being so we have more experience in gaming, and thusly probably been in more than our fair share of Beta testing. This of course is at best a guess though, I will admit I have no data to back that up :D

6 posts on one page is impressive! I think that's close to a record.

Multi-quote is your friend. It allows you to respond to multiple people without steamrolling threads, which is a no no.

Technically... that makes you Atypical, not not a representation of the "typical" demographic.

And nice trolling guys, good game, good game.

This thread has restored my blind hope in the CBT franchise returning to the computer-game medium - the Devs' posts alone show such spirit and humour that I'm eager to want to play WHATEVER they come up with. :)

Bryan, Matt, Russ, and especially Paul: THANK YOU - your teasing, ribbing and outright TROLLING does more to quell my concerns about this project than anything else submitted to the public.

And that is because whatever the final product turns out to be, I know it will be *FUN*. Posted Image
