Sure, why not. God I hope we have the option of putting in custom nose art on our mechs in the game, that would be awesome.
The more I think about it the more I am leaning to having our lol merc group into a lagitamint Merc group as that would simply be fun as hell. If there are people that have an issue with it, thats there problem. My one concern how ever would be that one of the Devs may call foul and then there goes our fun boat. But I do smell a loop hole... What if we said that the Sea Wolves were backed by an "anonimes" group and we "just so happen" to have heavy Sea Fox and Diamond Shark over tones?

There would be people who would get all frustrated but sense our backers are "anonimes" all they can do is spin their wheels and spit and sputter. How fun and deviuse would that be?

Pluse, it would tigh into how

I mean honestly... where would people have a complaint ? we run it like we would if we where the CSF (old school CSF/CDS) basically merchents (well ones who run around in large mechs shooting at you). Cant see em having much of a whine fest over it since, hey its just a merc group, its not like we are rolling in with uber clan tech, and its not like at clan invasion we are gunna even have a group to jump ship to.
So why the heck no

Oh yeah ... Game Ranger MP3.1 MW4M

True, so true.
And your right, there really is no reason why we couldnt make it happen, as for how people would get upset? Well just ask Grem who got all huffy, but at the same time, if it wasnt for him and us posting the Sea Wolf Merc group just to yank his chain we probably would not have even gotten this far. Thanks Grem.

I use TS3.

This was the first time I ever did anything like this and is there a specific mech that this clan used?
I'm new to this stuff and don't really know a lot about it

Hao Otoko
Huntsman
Mad Cat MKII
Nova Cat (after winning the bid from the Nova Cats before they left for the IS)
Piranha
Porcupine
Predator
Solitaire
Thresher
Tiburon
Crimson Hawk
Mad Cat MKIII
Savage Wolf
Sphinx
As for specific mechs solely used by the Clan, I think they were Peranha, Solitaire, Hao Otoko, Porcupine and Tiburon.

Mad Cat MKII is a nasty one that can be set up for effective long range engagements with snipping ability, depending on the load out heat is not even an option with the addition of jump jets it turns into a hella nice sniping platform.
Tib an huntsman I dont know much about though i remember the tiburon being a rather nasty one with the number of configs you could set up on it.
Tactics for CSF was not "typical" to the rest of the clans, they had honor, but it was in their own sense of the word. Due to their massive ties with trading and exploration units their mechs tended more towards speed and scouting types, coupled with their penchent for long range work their warrior caste's mechs where designed towards that end, they where not as bound to tradition as the rest of the clans and that is perhaps why they had/have as much power as they do.
They are traders and arbitrators first and foremost, though this does not make them any less dangerous on the battle field. The clans abilities to produce their own designs and mechs have been their saving graces time and time again, The mad cat MKII was designed by CSF and later the Mad Cat MKIII which was sold to the inner sphere (though there are some rumors about why that particular mech was sold to the IS but thats for another day).
Also I can say that they also are known to use IS type mechs, CSF is one of the most adaptable and has the least about of information on it compared to many of the other clans out there, they follow zellbrig to an extent, though they are not as strict on it when dealing with people outside the clans. Though when in clans this is a pretty serious and strict rule.
An I gotta say love the nose art xD should slap it on a Cat too... Just cause you know its awsome like that lol

I believe it was mentioned that the Mad Cat MKIII was ment to be sold to both Clan and IS, but the Clan made a big ruccus about it being against Kerensky's battlefeild teachings or some such which was why they basicly boycotted them, and thats why they are sold heavily to the IS. The only Clans that do use the Mad Cat MKIII, besides CSF, is Clan Wolf in Exile, Clan Nova Cat, and either Clan Ghost Bear or Blood Spiret. I don't know why the Clans put up such a fuss, its basicly just a smaller, lighter, and faster Mad Cat mini-me as it is a medium mech.
The Tiburon is a very fast, and very well armored light mech. Most configurations of it are for close to mid range fighting if I recall. Standard loadout is 4x Medium Lasers, 2x ER Small Lasers, and 2x SRM-2's. It's also interesting to note that its weapon bays are retractable, which protects the mech's weapons as it closes in on its target.
The Huntsman is a medium mech that can, well, take on almost anything. The things has so much weapons on it, its just nuts. Standard loadout is 4x ER Medium Lasers, 1x Ultra AC/2, 1x LRM-10 supported by Artemis tracking, 1x Streak SRM-6, 1x Flamer, TAG system, 2x Anti-personnel pods, and an AMS.

How ever, I must be honest about one thing. I love House Davion, have always been loyal to them and the IS as a whole. Its also one of the reasons why I like CSF/CDS and thats because they are for the most part allies and good trading partners with the Federation. So I hope we take a lot of contracts from them.
