Sign up Phoenix there is a reason they have no port blocking, if your ping is to high then oh well if not then you will be having fun.

There seems to be a lot of users on the forums right now... last time I checked there was 1050 people looking at the main forum page alone. You'd think that closed beta invites were going out today or something...

This sucks, I am having a problem with getting my system specs... How ever, some one said their is a way to get all the information manually but not sure how. Some one said you can get it by hitting the start tab, click run and then type in dxdiag but that doesn't give me even half of the information required.

Here is the information that it asks for.

Operating System Version:
RAM:
CPU Name/Type:
CPU Speed:
CPU(s): Physical:
Video Card Brand:
Video Card Memory:
Primary Display Size:
Multi-Display Size:
Microphone Enabled:
Language Setting:
Harddrive Space Free:
Harddrive Space Total:
Windows Experience Index:

When you sign up to be in the BETA pool, they should have a link for a system profiler provided by PGI. You download and run that, copy the data in the text field and paste it. No need to run DxDiag or anything like that.

Then again, if you don't trust PGI for any reason, then you may have to do some digging on your own system and on the internet.

EDIT: The link is located under the textbox in your BETA profile... just so you know!

I am well aware of that, however, going that rout would require me to create a directory C:\WINDOWS\Performance\WinSAT\Datastore because when I try to use PGI's link I get an error saying I am missing this. I am using Windows XP Home Edition evry ones advice on how to fix the problem isant working do to the fact that those routs do not work with my current OS. That's why I am trying to get it manually.

While I haven't worked with XP in a while, have you tried to right click the start button and then select properties? I think there is a tab which would give you the info, but then you would have to manually type it in for the Beta profile.

Yeah that doesn't work, it just takes you to the task manager. I am perfectly happy manually typing it in if it would get me in the beta.

My ping in MWLL was ... between 300 and 500. Think my ISP got pretty bad pings overall. That added to distance to server can mess things quickly. Funny thing is that I didn't see any 'lagg' on other mechs but people complained about me 'lagging' a lot. We'll live and see I guess.

That's Cataphract-tastis. Once again another lovely Sea Wolves skinned mech by Puppet.

Has any one of our members actually been in the beta yet? If so, whats it like, I'd at least like to imagen my self playing it while I wait for my new OS to arrive.
