i agree the games should not gain you tXPs or pXP. but it should help get better contracts if 2 or more of our pilots get ranked.

Any way, I was doing some reading on the whole targeting system and it looks like the Devs are going for a type of automated convergence, so if you want to have a accurate shot, the weapons will need a bit of time to line it up first, other wise your weapons will just be dancing across the enemies torso, assuming you hit them at all if you fire before your weapons line up the shot. That will make targeting lights and some mediums rather difficult. Not to mention targeting legs to be very hard as well. And, as you rank up, the time it takes for your weapons to converge decreases so you line up the shot faster.

Well all I know is after reading that, I really hope they have C3 Slave systems in the game, that will help out a lot with targeting.

i agree. the C3 systems will/should help out alot for range fighting. but the pulse weapons will be a big deal. beeing that they have faster cycle fire times. but i dont know about that.

I'm sure there will be some level of recoil to deal with the high rate of fire weapons.

i dont see a recoil with energy weapons. ammo weapons hell yeah.

Yeah lasers probably wouldn't but ballistic weapons would, but at the same time AC weapons would probably have high damage out put and nasty knock.

Well I am curious as to how they ballence out the damage ratio for ammo weapons vs energy as imho weapons with limited supplies should pack more of a punch as opposed to ones that cant run out.

agreed. on MW4:Mercs i knocked down alot mechs when i hit the high shoulder area with a ac,or gr round. got very good with that. and it worked very well with mech assualt too

I agree with you completely Vince. This kinda got me thinking about when they decide to introduce the RAC/2 and 5. Sense they use the smallest and lightest rounds for AC weapons they should be rather accurate, and sense they have a very high rate of fire they would be very very very deadly. They are after all considered the deadliest AC weapon out there. None of this gimpy POS crap that MWLL made them into. I also thought of a way to balance them as well. Make it so that when you switch to their weapon group, you get a heat indicator for the RAC's and say have 3 jam tickets. Its very simple. Once the heat peaks, the RAC jams, taking up a jam ticket, after a few seconds and the weapon is cleared you can continue firing. But if you use up all your jam tickets, the RAC's break and become useless.

Well I am just hoping we get different sorts of ammunition for the Autocannons and missles it will really make outfitting ym raider lance alot more fun and thought provoking.

No doubt Dragon, I plan on running my lance somewhat openly so that if other lances aren't operating at that moment people have somewhere to play.

I believe we are getting different munitions for AC weapons. RAC weapons probably wouldn't though do to their awesomeness, not to mention they couldn't as stated in the TRO and lore.

that was the idea behind multiple lances ... so we could continue to run missions :o

i mean hell they may have contracts that dont need 18 people (what ever the number is) it may only need a star so yup. Any who sorry about being some what absent work decided to hand me a bowl full of evil spawn of ***** kittens ...

So in theory the idea behind it is we can break down lances to form other lances as people adjust :)

now onto other news, umm ... i dont have any really new news T.T
