Regardless of the in-game implications, although I expect nothing more than an IS News Flash regarding Phelan's disappearance and Morgan's obvious mourning over it, I'm reserving the right to laugh at Phelan for trying to take on a 'Mech over twice his weight.

So, had a funny thought.

Match on the periph is over, match summery screen is up, but no one can exit out.

suddenly, the surviving players are back in their respective deployment zones, no repairs or reloads, then SUDDENLY

Clan star drops in to fight the survivors. (presumably piloted by PGI employees.)

I already posted all of this over a month ago.

The reason he didn't send any battle ROM footage back was because he was a bondsman and Anastasius Focht took the footage to see how the clanners fought.
That is how he came up with the name Mad-Cat for the Timber Wolf seeing as Phelan's Wolfhound couldn't decide whether or not Vlad's 'Mech was a Catapult (Cat) or a Marauded (Mad)

Also while on the topic of IS names for Clan 'Mechs if you read on Sarna the description of how the Thor got its name its wrong the Thor was named after the God of thunder and lightning (Thor brother of Loki son of Odin) because it carried a ER PPC on one arm (Lightning) and an LBX 10 AC (Thunder) on the other arm.

i just finished reading lethal heritage for the first time, just to get to know the lore a bit better (loved it by the way). so it seems that we are going to have the early days of the invasion on our hands soon, lets hope that clanners dont kick our noob ***** while we are just starting to know the game ( supposing that the clans arent going to be playable that is)
