Any chance there could be a Thor mech developed? Being one of the iconic classic mech I feel it should have a defiite spot in the game.

Hate to bring it, but it been developed about 186 years ago by current time in inner sphere. But, you won't be able to use it for 2 or 3 years from now.

Wrong, if time line is any indication, around March next year Clan Mechs will start being captured by Inner Sphere units.
OP - I am sure this particular Battlemech will be included.

ORY? Try to get one functional first, and how much time it will take to blackmarket it to FWL?

Remember this is a game, not role playing central, though I do enjoy such things.

That
That's if they actually won that skirmish/battle, it's pretty hard to salvage something when the battlefield/zone is controlled by the enemy.
During the first initial couple of waves, I was pretty sure the crusading clans roflstomped over the planetary garrison.. not much to salvage there.

So, one of those things I've wondered...
Sarna states that Star Colonel Nicolai Malthus' Summoner/Thor is an "Alt. Config. M", with "an ER PPC as its primary weapon backed up by an LB 10-X Autocannon. Where it deviates is that for close combat the M configuration of the Summoner has a Streak SRM-6 and an ER Small Laser as secondary weapons".
Yet, it doesn't resemble a standard Summoner chassis - the upper chassis is far too bulky and the cockpit is centered and of a different exterior design style.
(Yes, I know the cartoon took certain... liberties... with some of the designs. )
Perhaps it could be presented as an alternative construction variant (like the Mad Dog C variant vs the prime variant), or perhaps it's a new (experimental? one-off?) but related 'Mech (that is, a Summoner II or something)?
