Q, When will we shut down the founders program and the ability to buy them?
A. There are some variables at play that are too difficult to explain, suffice it to say we dont know for sure but I can say that Aug 7th is very likely the longest it will run. But it is limited so don't wait too long if you can afford to. For those waiting on paychecks etc I would say we have in all liklelyhood at least 4 weeks at the minimum,

There is a good chance that it will go past August 7. They are releasing 1 video of Founder's mechs per week and they have released 2 already. They have to release 2 more and that will take 2 weeks. It would be almost pointless to release them (since they are promoting Founder's Packs) if they close the FP program before they finish releasing all the videos.

I'm of the opinion that they likely "may" run the Founders sales after the 7th... given the number of issues players have had (based on threads/posts) purchasing them... not the players fault and PGI/IGP have said they're aware of issues and where working on it... so... again, just my opinion, but seems like because of that, past the 7th would be fair...

Would like to see an official update tho'.... a "new" update that is...

No it's cool, when I migrate this main account to the Oz/SEA servers I'll create another to play with the US community.

Actually theirs a chance it will last until the open beta (which is TBD). When that Q&A was made Aug7 was the start of open beta, but that has now been delayed. So you may be in luck.

Ah not that I know of. The most similar character name that I recall would be Linear Cannon from the Evolution game series. If you actually Google "Otto Cannon" his MWO profile appears third on the list.



I really wanted to have two accounts with Founders but I really just cannot afford a second one right now. If for some reason the program extends another month or two I may get another. I would have taken out a loan to get a second one right now if they offered a Founder's Dakka Jagermech. I am hoping that they will sell something like it after launch.

During the Q&A a while back the Dev that was taking questions said: he thought Founders packs would probably be taken off sale likely by mid July to late July, failing that definitely August 7th would be the last day as that would be the day founders packs are sent out.

This may or may not have changed as there has been no recent word about it.

Be sure to post in the Beta forums for game discussions and issues instead of here. Just refresh the forum list a few times and it should pop out. It normally doesn't appear after you first log in.
