I normally wouldn't do an Urbie, but it's a meme on these forums and I felt obliged to do one with urban camo.

When I first looked, I saw a Daishi and said: "Another Clan fanatic, great. ", but then I saw that Urbie and Helios...

By the way, if anybody has requests I'll try my best to fulfill them. Keep in mind that save for Photoshop CS3, everything I'm using to do these camos is free (including my own time). Give me a general idea of the environment you're looking for, the mech you want me to do, and I'll get back to you in no more than six hours.

Well, I could think of some good Capellan mechs, but I doubt you would enjoy making them, nor finding the right material.

If you decide to make them, however, then the list would be: Huron warrior, Victor (just to make it nicer for you ), Yu Huang, Snake, or Shadow Hawk.

Actually, I don't really care. I don't care about factions overmuch, it's just that the FedCom has always been my favorite BT nation. What sort of camo do you want? Example would be tundra, woodlands, desert, night, etc.

EDIT: As for sources, I've gone to the trouble of finding high quality PDFs of the various TROs. I'll drag something out of XTRO Liao for you.

I selected the Pillager Anvil from Technical Readout Experimental: Liao because it looks so badass. I used an actual Chinese camo pattern as the color base and implemented a snake skin macro pattern for that extra pop. If you should happen to want a pattern for another environment or a different kind of macro pattern, let me know.



EDIT: I'm going to go back and clean up the outlines at some point. This is an unanticipated problem when working from PDFs.

Well, that's going to be as good as it gets without a WACOM tablet. If you want, I can turn it into a wallpaper and try to play some tricks with anti-aliasing. Next time I do one of these, I'm going to get the edges before shrinking the pic.

If it gets any worse I fully expect to log on Apr 1st 2013 and find each one of our 'Mechs swapped out to an Urbie.

A Liao conversion of Victor to assault mech, really like it, thanks.

As for the camo, I think that this, or something similiar, just with more specific colors would be great.
