Does anyone know what company Piranha Games poorly chose to do the credit card transactions? If there's any history of poor conduct and such? I think it's very odd that they continue to have issues with double charging and I've even heard of quadriple charging. Normally a company straightens such things out in a day, but I think it's approaching a month. They don't take all credit cards just most or maybe even some. They refuse to give refunds, all I've been hearing is one bad thing after another and not in any small quantity.

This seems like it's going to be a long term issue. It's hard to even give Piranha Games money because of who they're working with and I'm wondering if this is going to be a long term issue all through out the games life.

It seems like a big risk to the consumer and the company. It's scary to purchase anything from Piranha Games and even those who do are sometimes rejected out right. Is this company so shady that some banks autoblock any transaction with them?

They were using Playspan, which is one of the companies partnered with Wargaming.net and other major free to play/micro transaction type game companies. I've never heard of so many problems with them ever before and I've made purchases through them for World of Tanks as well as other games over the years.

I'm also not sure if they've changed their partner company at this time or not.

Hmm, I wonder how much of it could possibly be how Piranah Games has it on the website maybe?

I hope that in the future you will take game cards like Ultimate Game Cards. I did not have any problems paying for my package, but I have had problems with Playspan in the past with a certain tank game (which is why I decided to just use game cards for that).

Plus from these forums, it seems that players from other countries (non us, can, uk) have problems with Playspan and game cards could solve their issues.

It's currently 8:38 AM in Vancouver. Give the PGI staff time to get into the office and make the necessary changes/updates/etc. The update should be sometime in the afternoon, eastern time.

Dude this is obvious SPAM. I've seen so many posts like this from NON-FOUNDERS. This guy is getting paid to stir up dissent in the MWO Community. Don't listen to posts like this. Move along people nothing to see here.

Have not had any issues with the payment processes on this site. Besides almost all credit card companies will offer you protection if there is some kind of issue and the company involved will not help solve it. Again have not had any issues from the credit card side or customer service side of this company. Great game...support it guys.

Unfortunately, negative issues will always be more vocal than satisfactory issues

There are literally several THOUSAND of players who had 0 trouble buying a founder pack, but none of them are posting rants about how easy it was, or how great the game is (because we can't)

Suffice to say, while there are a few people having trouble they are a tiny tiny fraction compared to several thousand satisfied customers.

There is no such thing as a perfect service when it comes to relying on software.

Plenty games have times when specific payment methods are offline.

Though I have no doubt this true, its been too many when it comes to the area of financial transactions. They need a better record than what we are seeing. 1 out of 1,000 is fine for most things, but not when it comes down to the money I spend 14 hrs a day away from home earning. I need more assurance.

Normally I would agree, but nobody else is making a mech simulator game (afaik), so there are no competitors. Maybe it's just a "slow and special" person? Just a thought... :)

Most of the people I know had no problems buying a package or upgrading. They have used a mix of credit cards and Paypal. Any issues on this forum that require sorting out payment or double charges will be handled by the MWO GMs and you can inform them of any problems via an e-mail to support@mwomercs.com.

If this does not assure anyone that the system is working and that PGI is a company that takes financial issues seriously then nothing else will.
