WOOT!

Here is the current status of his profile.
Character name Malcolm Malloy
Age: 22
Family: 4 sisters, Mother, couple of aunts and 2 uncles.
Father was a mechwarrior, Grandfather was a mechwarrior, Great Grandfather, etc. Malcolm, as yet,is not. When his father was killed in an operation against a Kuritan outpost when Mal was 12, his mother did everything in her power to dissuade Mal from becoming a pilot or having anything to do with the military for fear of losing her only son as she had lost her beloved husband.

This didn't stop Malcolm from his dreams. He idolized his father. He wants to follow in his footsteps one day. He has spent alot of time in the sims, when he can scrounge the money for them from his job as a delivery driver for one of the local warehouses.
He has a strong sense of family and duty.

Among his prized possessions is a picture of his Grandfather with his then 7 year old father on his lap sitting on the canopy of the Marauder Heavy Mech his Grandfather piloted. In the sims he specialized in the Maruader as his favorite but he was sure to balance with others as well trying to be well rounded should the opportunity present itself to him.
His other favored possession is an old dual purpose (on and off road) cycle he pulled from a junk yard and rebuilt himself. With minor enhancements for speed and durability.

He is fiercely loyal to those who have earned his trust and respect.
He is currently disheartened in his "safe life".

Minor fear: GM Knows
Major fear: GM Knows

Looking forward to participating in the RP.

Yeah, like they said, Good job.

I especially like the idea of dude swirving all over the place on his motorbike trying to catch a glimpse of mech combat.

Unfortunately for me, I do most of my posting on the weekend. Unless I'm full of energy and ideas when I get home from that place I'm an indentured servant to... But I start a new job tomorrow so hopefully I'll be able to post more often.

But excellent opening post.

Here's the bios guys

DELTA SQUAD OVERALL STATS: CQC specialists overall, also have experience against battlemechs, tanks, and in ship to ship boarding actions. Status of most troopers, elite, with Derek being the only veteran.

Name: John Christensen

Height: 6'9"

Build: Musclular, and wide, he has brown hair, brown eyes, and a scar over his left eye, which he received when CQC got ugly and knives were drawn.

Bio: John has been with the Taurian Military for years, when finally, he and his squad, Delta, decided to leave, due to all the political BS that was going on in the Navy during that time. Targets wouldn't be hit, even if they knew pirates were coming from there. So finally, John and his marines decided to go AWOL, and finally desert. They joined up with soldiers like themselves, got a small corvette, and began raiding the pirates. These were some of the toughest times that the marines had, as whenever they got into an engagement, then the Taurian military show'd up, they would be in a three way shooting match, with the pirates and the military shooting at them. Regardless, with that sacrifice, the managed to clean out several pirate holdings when, finally the last straw came, when John found out that the Taurian Concordant had placed a price on their heads. Their corvette was destroyed, and they had start anew, as a Private Security Force, and their newly "acquired" Maxim APC. Normally they would take escort jobs, transport, or simple guard duty. Their jobs on Hope though, were supplement local security, and if they helped the local militia, they would receive a hefty bonus per engagement.

Weapons: AR, Shotgun, shaped charges, and frag grenades

Name: Derek Champlain

Height: 6'5"

Build: Muscular, not as wide as John, think Defensive End in football, that kind of size. Brown Hair, Blue eyes, no scars.

Bio: Green recruit sent in as a replacement for some of the losses to John's Squad, he also served with the Taurian military, and followed John, on their spree into pirating the pirates. Derek has seen plenty of action, including infantry against battlemechs, which in one particular incident, a charge misfired, and his close friend Ethan was crushed by a ShadowHwk's foot when it spotted them. The only reason Derek survived the incident, was because a local pilot with their group, spotted it, and tackled the battlemech, sending his Pheonix Hawk into the Shadow Hawk. Derek is still hurting from the loss of his close friend, Ethan.

Weapons: AR, 2 shot SRM launcher, Slug thrower based pistol.

Name: Dmitri "Molotov" Hadden

Height: 6'9"

Build: Muscular, little wider than John, and stronger, has a heavy Russian accent as he was born in the Cappellan Confederation, but his parents went to the Concordant to try and get a better life.

Military Bio: He was transferred to Delta squad when his whole platoon was greased in a boarding action, when a captain vented atmosphere in the hangar, and none of his men had their suits sealed. Dmitri only survived because he was still in the shuttle when it happened, as the door sealed itself when the atmosphere began to be vented. Since, Dmitri has always made sure he has his NANG suit on hand, and also has a fascination with fire, that has caused him to create a makeshift flamethrower attachment to his backup AR, and to carry Incendiary Grenades (Rogue, you can breath a sigh of relief, he's called Molotav for a reason). Also the newly "acquired" Maxim APC, is Dmitri's baby, and he takes good care of it, but, he is definitely an aggressive driver.

Weapons: LMG, AR/ flamethrower attachment, Incendiary grenades, SRM reloads.

All fears have been sent to Oni, and are awaiting his approval for them, and these.

What do you guys think?

*Sits in chair, and grabs some popcorn* Now, while I wait, I shall catch up on my reading.

John is modelled after my Uncle John, fire fighter, Derek is modeled after my older cousin, Derek, and Dmitri... well I put him down as the size frame everyone always told me my grandpa was back when he played for the Saints in '70s, starting offensive lineman.

Well I'm just waiting on Thom and Brenden and we'll get the results of the cicada's fate. Brenden won't be able to fire on her this round but he's closing fast and the confusion has allowed him to possibly snap off and extreme range shot after the next volley of fire. Obviously he was closer than first expected or gained ground as she slowed and approached the strange shrubbery in the roadside. I had a post from Thom but think he grabbed it back til it he was ready to unleash his own hell, to swoop in a steal the prize. :D

Which brings me back to Gammadin, I'm waiting for the detective here to post his next line of inquiries as the mystery machine speeds towards the HPG with Shaggy, Scooby, and Scrappy on board. (Sorry wolf, had to be done) :o

Maybe if they all had armor, were rabid, and with guns. Also the Mystery Machine would have to have to be a Bradley APC on roids.

Nice job on the Breach and capture scene btw.
