I can imagine those Clan Wolf people just having Timber wolfs in their entire mech bay. All they need to do is to change the chassis

It's a nice looking 'Mech, but it's design flaws will come to light soon.

I love the Timber Wolf, but am a much bigger fan of his little brother, the Mad Dog.

The Mad Cat is a legend like the Warhammer or the Atlas.Specially the Version with the 4 S-SRM6 were dreaded in our round. With 24 rockets you always had 1-4 head shots or the CT with critical hits. Quite often a Mech died after the first attack, whatever which tonnage it had.

For those who remember Mad Cat, TimberWolf, or in older terms "Scat" wars were fun. Great on tonnage controlled drops.

Hmm if I remember correctly Scat wars were not with Timberwolfs but with Shadowcats.

The reason why IS hates the mad cat so much is that it was the first bit of clan tech they encounter in many of the first battles. It is a heavy mech that carry just as much armor an weapons of an assault mech while the speed of a med mech. Also Clan Reactive FF armor made lot of the time underpowered IS energy weapons. Later on there was 4 models made of this mech (all the way to the dark ages time frame), showing the frames reliablity. Thou it is mostly personal choice reason why people hate or like piloting this mech.

IMHO I would love to actual be in the Madcat MK2 assault modal with duel Arrow 4 launchers :3

Wont be getting that one for awhile. I don't know, always looked a bit squat to me. Not even sure why they needed 3 extra Madcat's...granted the Madcat III was probably a last second rename because people though it was weird.
