I gota say I have played a lot of games where the devs and admins hardly every give this much information and communicate so well with its players. I hope that you all continue to provide this level of excellence because if you do you will have a lot of happy players. Hell even if its half this level its still better than some games. Even your help ticket responses where friendly personal and quick. Something I did not expect especially with the game being in beta. You guys/girls rock keep up the great work. :D

I can see everyone’s point about the Founders extension but seriously if you’re a fan of the series would you not have forked over $60 bucks to play, if the game wasn't going to be a FTP game that is? SO what's the problem... And if a person can't afford 60 bucks or 30 for that matter what are you doing playing on the internet anyway... Get a real job and if you have one that still doesn't afford you an extra 30 bucks in a month’s time for your hobbies Get a second one because you obviously can’t afford a hobby anyway...

its not about money. The only thing i like about f2p is the constant content updates, and I guess the new blood. The rest of its annoying. WOuld rather just pay the cash and be done with it.

Could you tell us what the stability level of the platform is now and what that entails? Does a stability factor of 75% mean you have a 25% chance of being kicked off the server at any random time or having a server crash?

Based on where your team is on the project and your current goal of reaching Open Beta, do you have any idea/thought/guess/magic 8 ball opinion on when an open beta might take place? We get that alots being fixed/created/balanced/tested. You must have a realistic goal date.

Help us make some informed decisions here. I could wait a month or so for a more complete and stable system but i may not want to wait 3 or 4 months and be willing to jump in for $30+ sooner than later. Thanks.

Is there going to be a patch before tomorrow, one that fixes some of the game's issues?
tomorrows patch will also fix some more of the issues on top of adding in the founders stuff.

Meh..

You bought Founders, you are a founder. End of story.

Founders Package is not an exclusive, limited edition pre-order. Never has been, never has been advetised in that way. It's only your own distorted viewpoint and your own distorted sensibilities getting put out here.

The date at which the Founders package ends has never, not once, been stated by the devs. They always said that it would be available at least up to now but never said once that it would stop today. Again, your own distorted view seeing only what you wanted to see; reading only what you wanted to read, interpretting it how your distorted view interpretted it.

The only "exclusivity" available is: the founder's tags (both in game and on forums), the name in credits, and the founders mech(s) if you bought one of those packages. There is no other exclusivity than that.. nothing has changed with this, it's all the same bonuses for your support of the unreleased title.. and seriously, what more do you want...? On top of what you've already been promised?

Closed Beta began a long time before Founders was released for sale. Founders Injection is essentially Closed Beta Phase 2.. Closed Beta Phase 1 had 10,000 or so people selected and decided on by the developers who may or may not have had an intention to buy founders when it was released.

This update is most welcome, thank you PGI for constantly being mindful of the community's desire to know, and for taking the time not only to tell us what we need but to do so in a clear and cogent fashion.

what happens when the game goes to release or has to be hard or soft wiped? Will all that premium account time/currency have been wasted?

I too wonder about this. Normally stats and skills earned in beta go away when a game goes live. When the game goes live are stats reset and perks turn on again?

I was hoping a little more info was offered, such as (roughly) when to expect new maps and new mechs. Still, good news and I hope the game progresses well!

Excellent update!

I am also wondering whether we will be given the option of activating premium status at a time of our own choosing rather than when open beta starts?

Thank you for the time, care, and attention you invest in the MW community.

I am confident that this franchise is in good hands.

All great news for MWO fans. One request; please give the player base plenty of notice before the Founder's Program expires, so those on the fence can take the plunge, and those of us with less disposable income can save the cash to upgrade!

So have they said if we will be able to change our founder mech choice? I went this the Atlas but after playing I think I'd rather the Catapult.

Exactly the information I was searching for, thanks. I can't wait to blow my MC and get it back again. It will make choices much less risky when the open beta starts.

People, it's not complicated. They are not out to steal your money. Relax and use a little common sense please. At the end of CBT the game goes into OBT. OBT is Live, just with some more bugs that will be fixed. OBT is permanent 99.99% of the time. IF they do ANY sort of wipe affecting paid-for content, you will be compensated. Founders in CBT will start all over with their purchased package after the CBT is hard-wiped and the OBT/Live starts. Nobody can make it more clear than that.
