The Founders thing is simply a hook to generate revenue to get this operation on the road. Comes with nice perks, planning on getting a Elite pack my self payday this friday (assuming they extend it at least that long) as to exclusivness, if the game takes root well into the MMO gaming community and is still here in 2 years thriving and if the devs allow new blood peeps to buy the 'Founders' packs, you would have a very valid point on it not being all that exclusive, however if its selling well, attracting casual observers (i'm one, however I've played Mechwarrior the original game since 86 and I still have my old Tandy 1000 TX - 286 processor powered in a box in the closet to prove it, and this past year i've built a Maptool campaign so I can TT Battletech with old friends scattered throughout NA every so often online ) and its sales end by the start of open beta never to be offered again, then they have fulfulled the exclusiveity implied in the offer. Your getting something no one finding the game later will get ever. Case in point I could have bought the lifetimer for Lord of the Rings Online 5 years ago when it was offered as a limited time option, I didn't as I didn't think I would play it enough overall to make much of a diffrence, and have kicked myself endlessly over that horrible mistake as I really started playing it up fultime 2 years ago and spent plenty in time and money unlocking everything. If LOTRO offered a lifetimer pack again i'd jump on it as fast as my wallet would allow, but its not likely to happen as it was offered back in the day as a limited time thing - and LOTRO would be betraying those who bought back in the day when it was offered as a exclusive offer. The 'Founders' deal here i suspect will be the same, so chill in a few months when this thing is really on the road we 'Founders' can sit back and read all the treads of 'newbies' complaining on how they can't get Founder mechs, and how unfair it all is...

I want to know if you plan on seeding keys for beta access or if it's finished, because i think, many peoples, and i'm one, want to try the game before to buy a founder pack.

I see your point but this is not an usual MMORPG. Open Beta will evolve in "Final State" which will never be reached. So the day open beta starts is the final release.

I read update twice to fully understand. but unfortunatly some players could read 25 times and still twist everything to their thinking. People please read carefully.. there many complicated words in update to understand, ex. "a", The, . return to classes to learn to read, but i know of no school that teaches common sense, my sympathy to these people.. I understand that some have a language difference, but many speak english as native language and still twist things due to limited braincells, when i read some remarks by some I am reminded of a guy slobbering with eyes crossed with caption... This is your brain on drugs... for some it is too late.. Common sense will answer so many stupid questions.

Actually, i remember a dev Q&A where they said that after the 7th of august there would be no more wipes... Thats what i was looking forward to and after reading the OP alot more carefully, theres still going to be wipes...

Would be kinda crappy for new players that join in open beta if evryone already have enerything. You still have more skill then the newbies, so you won't need your mechs.

while true, its kinda crappy to keep losing everything.. Ive no interest in playing it atm, as i have no idea how long till things get wiped.

Hell, some games ive played in the beta, theyve said that there's gonna be a wipe, then come that time they went back on that and everyone kept their stuff :/
