Is it going on right now? Do we have to wait for regular business hours according to Pacific Standard Time?

You don't often read the front page new do you? The stuff going on today is still Closed Beta, which means that its still more testing and still via invitation only. The only thing that is changing is founders are going to get all of their perks added.

Edit for quickness: Okay, I'll combine the responses of everyone in here. It will still come off rude but truthful. Firstly if you are not already in beta the time of the patching does not actually matter. However if you are in beta I would recommend checking the Beta forums as they have a sticky post as to how server maintenance usually goes down. Part of what I said on my last post was about this and because of NDA I cannot discuss the contents of the post.

So in short, if he is not in the beta we CANT tell him, unfortunately. Lest of course the NDA has been lifted and I have not seen anything about that.

Thanks in advance.

No Aug. 7th is still closed beta sometime before the end of summer is when they hope to go to open beta. Read some of the stickies in General forums and you will get all pertinant information you are looking for.

EDIT: Better yet read the announcement of what to expect on aug 7th it is on the main page. here is the link for you

Yes. you can but it is still beta it is not full release. I would suggest reading the stickies before you puchase a founder pack so you know where you stand. (To those who don't know a sticky is a topic with the red label that says pinned)

Of course I read it. I found it vague and lacking.

Hmm. . . well I will break it down for you then. As stated today is still just closed beta with a few of the founders features put in. Open beta will be when the game is nearly ready to launch and there are just a few bugs left, probably something to do with matchmaking or collision or something. At that time, probably in about 2-3 months or more, will everyone be able to get in without having to wait for the whole "Pending" thing. That is probably also the time when they will stop selling Founders.

As far as time goes, I'm not sure if I can actually admit when (I know when it will go down and come up) seeing as the timeframe for patching is listed on the Beta forums.

There is no date for release. There is no date for open beta. All the information that anyone else has is based on this official announcement- http://mwomercs.com/...585#entry752585

Please remember that "Beta" is not a final game! Early access doesn't mean that you'll get to play the game early; it means that you have a chance to experience a lot of bugs and "play" without a lot of features. Beta is playtest and bug-finding, more than playing.

It has been stated alot before they are trying to get open beta before the end of summer! Now whether or not that happens I can't say but that is there plan as far as I know. if you read this http://mwomercs.com/...date-august-7th it is very clear as to what phase criteria are and what needs to be done before they consider a phase done. The developers have comunicated with this community more than just about any other game. Alot of things are in flux and are subject to change.

That info is also availiable patch time is (redacted: Possible NDA Violation)
