And DarkDog55, you don't necessarily need to have been on any of the old MUSEs or MUXes. Head on over to the website. Look around. See if we're your kind of people.

Come join us all you old timers.
New people who can be mature and are big Battletech nerds are welcome as well. Be warned, we are full of some btech lore/stat freaks so it can get a little wierd. But were a good group that have a lot of fun.

It isn't about age...not mostly, anyway. The unit is mainly a bunch of guys who used to play the text-only realtime BTech MUSEs then later MUXes together, almost 20 years ago. We're more than willing to bring in new blood, but you'll have to put up with a lot of inside jokes and references like tortilla's line of MU* commands. You'll also have to stay with your comrades when in combat, cooperate, follow instructions, and other silly things like that...things that actually win fights.
This has been a public service announcement. We now return you to your regularly scheduled insanity.
BTW, tortilla... Don't use those silly . commands! Use TF (TinyFugue)! That way, you don't have to re-enter your list of commands every time you play a different game.

I'm pretty sure if you played on 3065, you're old enough for us. We're just looking for mature, team players.

Come on! I did the math. We were on the MUSEs and MUXes only about 20 years ago. Most of us HAVE to still be alive! That means our comrades should be coming to MWO en masse. I remember us chatting about how much we wished we had graphics for our MU*s, back in the day. Now we have them!
Come on MUSErs and MUXers! It's us versus them.

Old age and skill will beat youth and enthusiasm every time. If not, we just hit them in the head with our canes.
