I've played my fair share of WoT, but I can't say it's been too impressive. After the 400th or so battle, it feels... old. Takes too long to level up to the next tank/gun/turret/etc. for me, and everything seems generic. Just cannons, cannons, cannons. I like the diversity offered in Mechwarrior with respect to weaponry and loadout, not to mention the new Modules thing coming in this game! I do like the "no respawn" concept though and am pleased that the game devs incorporated it into this game too. Adds a lot of realism to the game.

I'm "Chromoid" on WoT as well.

I've focused on the German line almost to the exclusion of everything else (other than the T2 Light Tank, Ram-II and a few others). They're some of the better looking tanks. I just wish they'd use more accurate stats for the weapons. Most likely I'll be playing this instead of that.

Closed Beta Tester (got the free Valentine to prove it), same name and only 467 battles because the grind is so painful (only 1 tier V tank, the KV which is horrible until you get the 107mm which takes 7 months to research because my average XP gain seems to be around ~250 for good wins.

I play what? 2-3 nights before getting tired of the game, forget it for a few months and play it again for 2-3 nights.

Online games don't draw my attention for long, SP will always be better.

WoT player Armouredgoof.

a couple Tier 8's. 2500+ battles.
Beta and 1 wipe survivor with 1500+ Beta Battles
Liked it a lot til it all felt the same, all the time, Still play now and then, trying to grind up to the Pershing,
Please DON'T make it like WoT. The forever grind totally ruined the game for me.

Also having 'tiers' of tanks, with no historical reference was a big let down. the Tiger was king of it's day, why is it fighting the IS, which is generations newer?

Devs, Watch and learn please.

I'm GozerTC there as I am here. I'm one of the WoT players ready to shove money at MWO the second I can. Seriously a F2P game with similar model to WoT (that I like) but with one of the only themes I like MORE than tanks? Sign me up! ;)

Seriously, I've bought premium a few times, I have a KV-5, and I've been playing since before beta. Hell I even went to the E3 booth just to get my WoT swag. If I bring that much time/money/enthusiasm to WoT imagine what I'm going to do for MWO? An IP I've played since I was like 12! ^_^

I am currently playing WoT, been playing that since early January, I love it. I was bummed when they took MW4 off the battle zone. I have not Been able to find a active site to play anymore so went to WoT.

When is the projected release of MWO? What are the costs gonna be to play?

I got a late start playing WoT, didn't get into it until around August, but have enjoyed it mostly. I always assumed from early discussion that MWO would have some similar feel, i.e. not a persistent RPG world, but multiplayer maps and team/league stuff. I do look forward to more complexity in this game though compared to WoT. That game is pretty straight forward on the level of in-game actions.

Not sure how many battles, definitely in the 1000-3000 range. Its a great game (but has its flaws, obviously), very simple to control but has a lot of depth and complexity to make up for it. Playing alone is kinda crap though but play it with friends and executing tactical maneuvers is a much much superior experience and a whole lot of fun.

a lot of interest as idiots will play anything, especially if it's free.

although i think the core will be made up of mech enthusiasts and people who don't want to play the arcade crap that is wot.

Guys and Gals I have to tell ya. I've played wot and the various mechwarrior games and wot absolutely SUCKS in compaison. Mechs eat tanks for lunch anyways. Hell 1 Mech is worth more in dmg output than entire company of tanks. Try going over 150KPH while RUNNING and even JUMPING and SHOOTING all the while trying NOT to get shot urself. Trust me LOL wot has NOTHING on Mechwarrior. Cya in my sites guys!! Lates. :(

Pick your favorite 3055 assault mech and put it against a lance of Alacorn.

While tanks are more fragile than Mech. they can be deadly in the right hands.

I do play WoT. About 4 to 6 hrs a week.

Im more tired of the stupid tankdrivers who play it like some egoshooter and ignore tactics, and the more stupid matchmaking system... fails so many times.
