For pugs only.
by that I mean if at least 90% of your games are pugs. In other words, its common for you to sit and play5-10+ rounds at a time as a pug.

Im doing this poll to get a feel for the pug experience and what it takes for us as pugs to finally loose our cool after being stomped on.

For me personally, i just answered 7. Because thats what it took today for me to finally start yelling at the screen ^_^
Ill have to qualify that answer with a little backround.. My threshold would have been lower up until recently, but I had 3 fantastic games earlier in the day, and my performance in game has increased substantially as of late.

The first 5 stomps I led in damage, the last two, i was not feeling it and died about halfway each time. After the last one.. i rage quit.

Now i know phase three is coming and all, but I want to see if we can quantify just how frustrating it can be getting steamrolled over and over whether thats just bad luck, stat voodoo or whatnot.

I can say with a fair amount of certainty that 3 of em were against premades.. Its generally only premades that march en masse straight to the enemy base and then focus fire with multiple ecm streak tag, missile boats and flat out heavy hitters.

If phase three doesnt rectify the problem , just for sanitys sake a pug only pool would certainly help. That, and at least Identifying who is dropping as a group.

I only pug and i havnt been pug stomped badly enough to make me put the game down and do something else in a long time. If the teams are ridiculously unbalanced i dont even try to win, if i can punch above my own weight im satisfied.

Cant remeber to ever losing more than 5(?) in a row. Maybe my brain just erased it idk. Could easily lose 10+ and not give a damn...

I lost 4 in a row with PUGs before, but that was as high as it went. I've also lost 3 in a row in 4 mans, two of which the other side looke suspiciously like sync drops.

I win my battle half and half...... The greatest battles are when people listen to me. We usually end up winning 0 to 8.

The trick is to speak up, no one does. Tell your team to stay in groups no matter what happens, I constantly tell people to follow the person in front of him no matter where he goes. and I also constantly tell them to stay together, to adapt their speed to others.

Now, im a new player here. And Iv only played about 100 to 200 battles ( maybe ) but I had no real trouble with pugs. The worst is when nobody listen and everybody go their own way. Or when everybody listen and suddenly when its time to mount the assault, everybody stop listening.

I don't get stomped often. I solely pug and my W:L is 1.5:1. I feel I may be a contributing factor to my team winning.

[redacted], how hard is to say to someone in chat in first game you play: 'can I add you? lets drop together.' ??!

For some reason out of 20 games I played on a new free test account with some random dude in a group of 2, only 1-2 were against good 4 men on an enemy team.

Why your [redacted] and lack of communication should be a fault of the game?! Get some friends and play with them, it's not that hard, stupid.

I grumble after about 2 stomps, but I really start raging after being on the wrong side of 5 or more consecutive total team kills (i.e. 8/0)

Mainly because it's very frustrating getting constantly teamed up with people that have no interest in...teaming up. This is only exacerbated when you're stomped by well organised premades several matches in a row.

Right now, PUGing in MWO is very frustrating.

Also, I'm not very fast at typing while playing...it's counter-intuitive for me to issue anything other than simple commands while also trying not to get killed. They REALLY need in-game voice working.

Nice, someone who's willing to step up and lead. Not many people willing to stick their neck out and do that. Kudos to you sir.

I think the frustrating thing for me on PUGs is when the match loads up I take a quick look around..... if I see everybody moving as a team I naturally assume I got bunched with a group that's coordinating on TeamSpeak so I try to at least act useful by either sticking with the group or scouting in a way that's reasonably useful to them. If I see everybody just run off at random I instantly know my goal is to just survive through the match and pick up an easy kill if it presents itself.

About 10 I think. I had a week or so where I had played about 60 pug games and won very few of them. Less than 10. I thought is was intriguing. Then it went away and I started winning more than I lost again.

Last time my pug was truly stomped I was third in the ranking with 3 kills and 2 assists. Never makes me feel bad at all, well, I wish people would play smarter, but that is not my job.

I've lost 10 or more in row PUGing, the vast majority of which were complete stomps. -shrugs- But over time it balances out. Most times I don't sit for more than 10 matches in a row anyway.

5 in a row is my threshold have used that in all games to keep from lossing it. It can be way over 5 as long as they don't fall in a row. Even in pre simplified WOW I would try to solo things that were not soloable, lol if it got me 5 times I would move on.

You seem to be reading op as a QQ thread....seems to me he is simply asking a question, don't read anyone crying here at all just a handful of answers and people telling them to stop playing alone. Hell isnt really even saying for sure its a premade, I know I am not. Just a "stomp"ing happens alot sometimes in the mid evening but not all the time. I have played for a few hours on end or 5 good Stompings.

Ok seriously, THIS stupid argument again? Wtf is wrong with you people?!

Pugs don't "feel like it" or have "real world problems" with teams XP

I rarely have many stompings back to back, and when I do it's usually more from my own team running about all willy nilly or going into a kill box 1 at a time.

Even against noticeable premades the games are typically close, or at least 4-8 or w/e.

the poll and replies are for pugs.. Not people who drop premades of any flavor ..
In the past month, ive gone about 1:1 wl or just under. I dont premade for a variety of reasons im not going to go into here and I know there are many like me out there. This poll is about us and what its like to exclusively pug. The pug experience..
Not premades.

Innocent suggestion for TS servers etc excluded from my disdain. < i know dude about TS etc>

I hear you, i had similar experience the first five matches, not as many kills but i never feel bad about at least "leading" the loosing cause.. But... while im not great, im no slouch either so the reason for the poll is to try and get a handle on what its like for the average dude. <iow, does pug stomping really induce enough rage to drive new players away.?>
I think it might if you dont get the "holy smokes, GIANT walking robots!! this is great. I gotta learn how to play this game no matter what"bug.. I got it mw4 veng.
