Daishi, always had the most fun customizing it because of its weapon flexibility. I cannot stop myself from putting on as many guns as possible.

I don't have any huge attachments to any particular chassis as I tend to use what is best, but I do still have a soft spot for the Bushwacker. The Shadow Cat, Gesu and Hackman also share a similar spot in my heart, but to say they trump Bushie would be to deny my true feelings.

I've spent my fair share of time in Assaults as any beginner does, but quick Mediums are far more satisfying. The speed, the maneuverability, the capacity to outplay raw power... there's a truly carnal satisfaction to that experience.

Hopefully MWO captures that same feeling. Mediums deserve their chance to shine, even in an MMO.

Favorite mech to play with: Timber Wolf.

For pure mean and awesome look: blood kite, savage coyote or saggitaire

Half this topic could be described as "Favorite designs that don't exist in 3049, so they won't get to use them." Half of what's left "Clan designs, what you might find one of if you're incredibly lucky and can afford the in-game fortune it'll take to maintain it".

You other people? You're awesome. And speaking of awesome, I'll take an Awesome.

For me it's the Marauder II (Phoenix Project) and the IIC version (also, Phoenix Project). But above all those, it's the BattleMaster. I can't wait to outfit mine when this baby goes totally live in 2012.

I'll probably be looking for an Awesome at first. Later I'll upgrade to a Hauptmann. I've got a wicked little config for that laser smoking demon, but I guess I have to wait ten years. Also on the want list, Devastator, Thunder Hawk, and Gunslinger.

Proud to be Freeborn!

To be fair, almost all of the named Clan designs existed prior to 3050. They just didn't appear in the Inner Sphere. :)

But what mechs do I absolutely want to see that we don't know about already? Considering whats available in 3048:
Light Mechs:
-Locust/Wasp/Stinger
-Commando [gotta have my MW2 baby]
-Hussar
-Javelin [dat twin SRM-6s]
-Spider [7-11-7 movement]
-Valkryie
-Urbanmech [Because trashcan]
-Panther
-Raven
-Wolfhound [Lasers and armor, what else you want?]
Medium Mechs:
-Vulcan [PBIs worst nightmare/infantry blender]
-Blackjack
-Hatchetman [we won't see it if they nix melee]
-Phoenix Hawk [Scout mech supreme]
-Vindicator [**** you VARUS]
-Centurion [I need this one]
-Crab
-Enforcer [And this one]
-Shadow Hawk
-Griffin [Delicious]
Heavy Mechs:
-Dragon/Grand Dragon
-Rifleman
-Catapult------------------
-Crusader----------------- [these three b/c its nice to have a choice of missile boats]
-Archer--------------------
-Grasshopper
-Warhammer [destroy or severely damage any Mech of the same weight class or lower]
-Black Knight
-Marauder [can't miss this one]
-Orion [or this one; KERENSKY MECH]
Assault Mechs:
-Awesome
-Charger [yeah really]
-Hamamato Chi/Thug [they aren't all that different]
-Victor
-Zeus
-Battlemaster
-Stalker
-Cyclops
-Highlander [they'd better make DFA a thing]
-Banshee [don't worry, it'd be the Steiner variant]
-King Crab [because double AC-20s]

My all-time favorite 'Mech is a tough one. As far as capability, history, and strength, my favorite is the ye olde Marauder.

Aside from that, when it comes to speed, firepower, and general usefulness I'd have to say... Bushwhacker. Fast 'mechs have a special place in my heart, though. I love going fast, so I'd appreciate it if the Assassin made it into MWO!

Because nothing says "Love" in an urban battlefield like two AC/20's to the face.

Hoplite HOP-4Bb (ER PPC LRM 15), or the HOP-4Cb (Gauss rifle, SRM 6) Its not fast, hasnt got as many weapons as say other bigger mechs, but it looks cool in the new artwork!
