Once again, the care that is being given to not only the combat portion of this game, an homage to far more than the stompies, but to the history of the universe that many of us have come to love, is amazing, and these words from this science fictional character are well-written, emotionally charged, and bring alive more than only this combat game that I have loved for so very long.

Thank you to Randall Bills and to all of our hosts at PGI.

"Skye March" indeed. Skye Federation at the least, Isle of Skye if you please. Why should we forget? Who was it that fought for those worlds, who was it who really owned those worlds? Archon or no, this was a questionable decision but the resulting, understandable, protest was badly handled and whipped into a firestorm by those with no knowledge of our history or culture and that is why the coals still smoulder; not because those worlds were ceded to the Free Rasalhague Republic, whom many of us respect and admire for their courage and strong cultural identity, but because the FedCom seems woefully ignorant of our strong cultural identity and recent history.

Your people say bootlicking i see only strong warriors prevail to achieve an big goal.

No matter their honor rule, if they dont have sense of loyalty.

One prince, one big dream, one mission, our mission!

Nothing like getting raked over the coals against the Snakes so ol' Hanse can get back at crazy Max down in the Confederation, then have to hand over our hard-won worlds to this new entity seeking independence, which we in the Isle of Skye can respect. But, when we want our own independence, suddenly we're dissidents and rebels. I tell ya, Hanse has got to have the best PR department in the Inner Sphere. Star League-grade propaganda mind-rays, or something.

Ahhh Skye, always jumping up and down while waving their hands around trying to get attention as if they were important in some way.

Steinerians never could see the big picture before them, always too busy looking backwards.

Some of us trained on Skye at the Sanglamore Academy were doing our duties quite admirably when the Skye Rebellion fell and continued to do our duties to the Lyran Commonwealth Armed Forces even when the Second Fusiler's of Oriente Regiment came against our second battalion of the 14th Lyran Guard. Oh yes we fought admirably that day tho in vain at some personal cost, so says I who fought with them.

Olivia Daver of the Commonwealth Press, half of Skye just fought against you in the Rebellion and the other half did their duties to Archon and Country but you have alienated them Both on this day so Sayeth I, Sir Derek Allen Raethe, because I am a Knight of the Lyran Commonwealth,"Honor of Skye" recipient, "Mckensy Hammer" Award Winner and Veteran of the "Battle of Gienah", Late of the 14th Lyran Guards Officer Corps.

I believe the Isle of Skye is of a little broader shoulders then that which you accuse them of in your inflammatory article.

Our honor dictates that it be so.

Wouldn't the clans have to invade first to even think about getting a Daishi?

Translation for everyone else:

Bootlicking...More Bootlicking...Raselhaugue should have the right of self determination....bootlicking...how DARE Skye rebel against their benevolent overlords...we now return you to your regularly scheduled Davionista bootlicking, already in progress....

Thoughts:
1)Hypocrisy much?
2)Maybe the people of Skye are tired of dying so Hanse Davion can be First Prince of a new Star League?

Glad to see there are others capable of grasping some understanding of the the First Prince and Archon's vision. The creation of the Federated Commonwealth will bring the wonders and freedoms of the Star League back to all the peoples of the Inner Sphere. The liberation of so many Capellan worlds and the creation of the FRR are sure signs we are on the right road to peace.
