That the fighting model wont end up like World of Tanks Clan Wars. Where the whole map is ran by 3 large groups while the rest either get absorbed or fight for scraps.

Psh. Silly Capellans... not even testing TSM before installing it on your mechs.
Justin and Candace should've spanked Sun-Tzu and taken the throne when they had the chance.

Besides... of course the maps won't be ruled by 3 large Clans... they'll be run by mercenaries and the Houses. :D

Actually he was kind of correct - being that Sun Tzu was elected First Lord of the reborn star league....as much as it pains me to say it.

Unfortunately, I don't think the people of St. Ives Compact agree with you.

They are our allies right now in the game. No need to fight them. ;)

Forgive me if I'm wrong on canon - but I don't think Candace and Romano were exactly getting along at this time...

That is why CW on the NA server is so totally popular in WoT... not. On a positive note, WoT is perfect to learn from on what not to do with a new game. ;)

Lol - thought so...if I were the capellan confederation - I wouldn't count the St. Ive's Compact worlds as allied lol. Silly cappies - just trying to get as many friends as possible before their doom...

Getting back to the OP"S topic I hope it does not end up that way either the game EVE is a classic example of a little group controlling the masses. As is this is like most of the worlds governments. There is always one or another form of control in the world and this game is no exception to the rule.I can see already there are players wishing to control the gaming lives of anyone that wants to play this game and i say lets not let them.Let this game play out in the realm of the unreal battle tech universe as it should with power players from all houses ,merc units ,and lone wolfs balancing the power of the players wishing to control the whole BT universe. ;)

Little group? The alliances that hold the most sway in EVE are pretty sizeable... BoB, RA, whatever space the Goons have remaining...

I see control being more based on player skill, alliances, and politics than anything firmly cemented in canon. Hell, an early reconciliation between the Wolfs and Kurita could steamroll most of the IS, if the pilots are any good. So I agree - lets play it out and see what happens.

EDIT: ... wow. After checking the latest influence maps... oi. Things have changed a LOT since I last played. EVE has really gone downhill =p
