The Minimum System Requirements..
My RAM is doing Hard Life for me!
But the bigger question is.. will my Computer run it?
A question to everyone who already played this game
with nearly these Requirements as mine please tell me
if it atleast runs smooth on the lowest settings or even a bit
higher..

System Specifications :
Intel Core 2 Duo E 6300 1.83 GHZ (Dual-Core)
Nvidia Geforce 450 GTS 1024MB DDR3
RAM 2GB
Windows 7 Ultimate - 32 BIT
Screen Resulolution (Very Important for minimum requirements) 1920x1080
1TB of Space (Is that even needed?)

Oh and.I dont have any games like Crysis 2 or something to try out
how my PC runs with Cryengine 3 games.

--EDIT--
Lowering the Resultion is nothing bad but will look horrible on my screen
If needed i still do it to play this game!

ehh, you'll be pretty tight. Probably have to lower the resolution dramatically.

No, no, that just will not do. Your CPU and Ram are just going to hurt you and if you can run it, it'll only be with Low graphics and low resolution, and it still might lag.

If you're not really looking to spend much money on upgrading, see what your Mobo can handle. You can get a Quad-Core for 50bucks and another 2 GB or RAM (I'm guessing SDRAM, hopefully 184-pin?) for another 50ish bucks. Your system won't be blazing but for a hundred bucks it should run MWO without making it look like a SNES game. (This is assuming your store carries or can special order older parts.)

Hehe, yes, SNES was great, but I certainly wouldn't want MWO to look like it. :P
I'm in the process of upgrading myself, have (had) a dual-core 2.93Ghz, GT 220, and 4GB RAM. On Win7 64-bit. It was showing signs of not living up to my demands last Christmas with SWTOR, I think I ended up playing that on Medium graphics more often than not. Still fine for allot of Single player games like Fallout3/New Vegas, Mass Effect and such. It'll also be nice to finally have DirectX 11 and USB 3.0! Now all I need is a Solid State Drive! :D

The graphics will probably suffice, but that CPU and 2 gig of RAM is not gonna make the game happy. I would get at least 6 gig and a 2.4 ghz minimum processor.

No point in 6GB of RAM unless he also switches from Win7 32-bit to 64-bit.

. I have that problem too, except on a LAPTOP, I tried it out and I think I was going 1fps, i dunno if you can upgrade it but YOUR best bet is going to a store like Frys electronics or craigslist or such

I have 3.6 ghz processor (AMD FX™-4100 quad processor)
8.00 gb ram (3.25 usable)
32 bit windows 7
ATI Radeon HD 5400 series display adapter (video card)

I have turned the game on lowest settings and brought my resolution (usually 1920x1080) to the lowest the game offers, and it is still too laggy to play, also used game booster which improves FPS on my games, still, very hard to play. Walking around with nothing going on is ok, but with mechs fighting and moving it becomes pointless -_-
Upgrade here I come!

I have windows XP
Some Dual core pentium thingy
2 Gig of RAM
and wait for it....

NVIDIA 9600GT 512K!!!

Woohoo!!

The game works fine on lowest graphic settings. Oh except I have to reboot every three games or I end up with a black screen. I am using the highest resolution though - might try the lower resolution - didn't think of that.

I don't play games for graphics BTW - I play for smashing robots - I mainly use my PC for Megamek - It's all about smashing robots!!!

Good Hunting

Speaking of which, is there gonna be any suport for the linux os ?

Move to 64 bit should boost performance.

No can do. Need more info.. You are actually going to have to tell me 'exactly what [your] computer' is.

I hate to agree. I have a system that has a AMD 64 5000+ which is comparable to your CPU and 4GB ram and a geforce 460 and sadly the CPU cannot handle it.

Personally, I think they need to somehow utilize the CPU better...

I run my AMD FX-4100 and 2x Geforce 550TI's at measily low/medium settings across the board to attain a steady 40-60FPS... and at 40FPS I mean during a heavy fight.... sometimes it even dips to the low 30's and makes me want to cry.

You're limitation is not the CPU, it is the GPU. You can simply overclock that CPU to 4.0GHz on stock cooling with no voltage adjustment.. My maximum overclock stable on my FX-4100 was 5GHz, but I run stable at 4.6GHz all day and my CPU is around 80% usage, whereas even my Geforce 550Ti is crying to sleep on medium/low settings at 1920x1080. Try to adjust to 1680 resolution... it should still look decent... but look into a GPU upgrade first. Get a good GPU, like a Geforce 650Ti or even a 660 for around $130-200 for the 660 and if you still have issues, then upgrade the CPU... One step at a time, but your GPU is definantly the limiting factor. If you need help with a little overclock thekler hit me up on gmail: clazarko@gmail.com

Anyone else I would be glad to help as well with obtaining a little extra CPU performance.

So this is a hard question... I want to know if this machine can run MWO enough that I will actually be able to play (my laptop just does not cut it). I have very limited information on this system as it was bought dirt cheap used from a corporate computer reseller. I am posting what information I have in the hopes of someone letting me know if the system its self can run the game. I know it will need a ram upgrade (I plan on bumping it from 1gb to 3gb the day I get the computer and then to 4+ as soon as possible). I will also upgrade the video card but would like a cheap video card suggestion. The process is the last piece of the puzzle. Below is the info from the company I bought it and below that is the list of CPU's that were available which limits which CPU it could have down to 2 and more than likely 1. The 2Ghz ** implies 2Ghz Pentium D/Dual-core. The only non-celeron model 2 ghz cpu is a E4400 core 2 duo. Do you think the CPU will run MWO if it is the E4400 core 2 duo?

I believe your PC is the following

http://www.pcworld.c...spiron-530.html

but sad to say even E4400 core 2 duo isn't gonna help improve gameplay

my older desktop with has a Core 2 Duo at 2.53GHz and Geforce 8600GT gives me bad frame rate and it was close to the lowest system requirement.

maybe it time to look into a brand new desktop
