Merlin, while you sit there, hopefully as uncomfortable as you possibly can be, waiting for my response, I want you to listen to me. I want you to digest this, because before this game starts in five weeks and the latest incarnation of our Unit begins its vengeance crusade, I have a lot of things I wanna get off my chest.
I don't hate you, Merlin. I don't even dislike you. I like you a hell of a lot more than I like most of the people I’ve met here. I hate... this idea... that you're the best... because you're not. We’re the best. We’re the best in the Galaxy. There's one thing you're better at than we are, and that's kissing MPBT Helper behind. You're as good at that as Doug Vernon was. I don't know if you're as good as Rygat... he's pretty good at that... always was and still is.
We are the best... Mechwarriors.. in the Galaxy. We’ve been the best ever since Day One when we walked into this game back on AOL, and we’ve been vilified and hated since that day because, everyone saw something in us that nobody else wanted to admit.
