Weekly Review – August 10th

Another week is at an end - they sure do seem to be flying by. Monday we had Ask The Devs 12 Answers, folowed on Tuesday by our Developer Diary 2 and Developer Update. People seemed to really like the Dev Diary, so here's to hoping there are more in store, eh? Wednesday we had the excellent prose (written my Randall Bills himself) Skeletons In Our Closets. Thursday we added our 14th screenshot - this time of the Founders Atlas in a nice forest-y pose. People asked for one in combat, so there's something we can try for next week. 

Did we all learn something cool in the Dev Diary? Any thoughts on the Founders Atlas (Or even other Founders 'Mechs?)  Let us know in the comments below

I think out of all the founders mechs, the Catapult looks the coolest. The JEnner really is just a blue version and I cant tell the difference. The Atlas eye patch is a nice touch and the hunchback canopy is nice. Can you point out the difference in the Jenner over the founder Jenner?

The founder Atlas looks amazing it really does look intimidating.
Like the person before me I want to know the difference between the Jenner and the Founders Jenner
Because apart from the paint job I am too unsure.

good week except when my children saw a improper member name, hope they catch soon, noone to tell at PGI now except Russian mod. Wife is so upset with this, lol my guess is I would be banned to repeat

this week was a disappointing one, with the exception of the 7th.

we still haven't gotten mech 16, and the ask the devs was UTTERLY useless

The aesthetic difference between the jenner and founders' jenner is in the head area. The regular jenner has a more boxy head area and the founders' version is rounded. Like most of the founders' versions, it's a little subtle.

As with the other Founders 'mechs, the difference is mainly in the shaping of the head/cockpit area, as well as the unique paint job.

As I said I want one where it's missing an arm and being blasted by weapon's fire. That's what I want for my desktop.(Ideally in Founder's blue skin too)

Alternatively I would settle for a Catapult that has its racks open with missiles firing out.

Founders Atlas looks okay, looks don't really matter to me. Would be nice to have a little bonus to it like some extra weapon slots or hardpoints or something. It can be pink and shaped like a ***** for all I care, just want it to be different mathematically from the other variants.

So here is the thing i am questioning. If the child is so young that you are concearned about a improper name, then that means that the child is far from 18 years of age. In that case they have not or are not able to agree to the NDA. If you have an account and have agreed to the NDA and are showing the CONFIDENTIAL MATERIAL
to those that have not agreed to the NDA or are not able to agree to the NDA then you yourself are in breach of contract by the NDA. If i was you i would be more concearned about that then an inappropiate name that the kiddie saw. Have a nice day.

Ok for starters I wasnt dissapointed, just a little clueless as to why the Founder Mechs were not given a better diffence from one another. Other than a blue paint job and some small diffences in looks not much to say about them still cool in all just missing a better function on the battlefield. Why not give the founder mechs a different but better variant/loadout capability other than the standard mech its a copying. Maybe for example on a Founder catapult.... im thinking back to Mw2 here, you could load a cat with nearly 4 to 6 different missles and a few lasers most variants of a catapult only give you the abilty to have 2 ML's. Just a thought i wanted to share with you guys of how i felt when i jumped in my Founder CataPult and was DISAPOINTED!

Keep up the good work cant wait for the next mech, #16 Right..... TIMBERWOLF!.... PLEASE!
