Aside from all of the poor puns you could make with mech names like Penetrator, Mandrill, Pack Hunter, Razorback, Cougar, Longshot (truly an ironic name for a mech with SRMs..) and so many more.
And the slightly more cerebral ones with Thorn, Javelin, Lancelot, Firestarter, Hollander, Clint, etc.

I would like this feature. It should require a certain proficiency with the mech and a reason for it to be famous. Fro example, if you are taking down two opponents per game, consistently. If you have survived X scouting missions or called in Y indirect fire missions, etc.
