The Vulture looks amazing, I'm excited for the final render of it! ^^

Executioner is off to a good start too, it already is looking good as a basic model. A render of a Vulture x Executioner duel would be amazing, not sure if you'd be up for doing the work for something like that though(I don't know how extensive your 3D modeling capabilities are, no offense intended), the models themselves arebeautiful and having a combat scene in my mind would look just as amazing basing it off the work you've done.

Edit: I just realized, that this is laying around in the media section o.o

thanks, i have a test render of some basic lasers on the Mad Dog. they just need a texture to make it look less solid which will be added soon as the executioner is rigged and textured. thanks for viewing :P (HD Image)

The green one looks perfect for a clan laser, not sure what's up with the purple other than being a test?

Are you going straight TRO build, or will you add your own details and touches?

As for the violet laser, I see the blue hue around it. I'm guessing the object you used was discolored by the ambient scene lighting.

im sticking to the TRO artwork mainly because im finatical over the classic designs, but i will be changeing elements where and when its needed. the executioner is an odd mech, theres no room for a torso twist or leg movement becasue of the "shelve" like structure that proturudes fromt he lower half of the torso. so im currently looking at ways to keep the TRO artwork but to allow it to move more logicaly.

sorry that i havent posted for a while my progress has slown down, and i will post what ever i can as soon as possible. thanks for viewing and the questions :)

ok so the legs have been blocked out, starting to shape them, detail will come later, but iam considering changeing them quite a bit, they dont seem to fit and the movement for them would be fairly limited and doesnt make any sense logicly also they appear to be a bit short but i like that, gives the mech a more bulky look. anyway crit/sugestions/opinions are welcome.

Amazing! What a beast. 5 Stars!
95 tons of pure famous clan technology and one of the most effective OmniMechs out there. I really like it. Just a few clans (Ghost Bears, Smoke Jags and Burrocks) have access to produce this monster. Pls make some nice Ghost Bear or Smoke Jaguar repaints!

The Executioner is looking really great, and your Mad Dog was spectacular!

How did you do your laser beams? I've yet to find a system in 3ds Max that comes out as well as you've got.

thanks ;), basicly the lasers are simple low poly cylinders with a material applied to them which is a solid colour and has the specualrity set to 100% and then a lens effect called glow was added from the enviroment tabs to render off the haze arround the cylinders. this is the tutorial i followed to get the laser effects, hopefully you will find it usefull ^_^

Nice work!!! :) What program is this? I have experience in Autodesk's ACAD 04'-10' and may work on a few models.

thanks :(

i use 3DS Max to model and UV for textureing i use Mudbox and Photoshop, i love being able to paint directly onto my mesh with mudbox  and theres a really cool feature that will faltten the mesh to the UV space so you can paint on it in a 2D form.
