I don't care if it's been said before. Or that there are other threads. This is my opinion and this is the appropriate forum section.
The current login system for the site BLOWS. Even if you can't let us keep ourselves logged in for whatever reason... Why the hell does it have to drag use away from the forum thread we were reading to the top page when we log in to post. Have to go back in and dig up the damn thread again...
That silly crap keeps me from posting most times. I don't care what excuses there are for it.. It shouldn't be that way. It's poor service... And I really hope it is changed LONG before you guys open shop.

Maybe you should add ruh infront of your forum name
.
slighly non-constructive post aside, it really should take you back to the same page you were reading after you log in.

Glad someone agrees. I'm not hating on the site, the game, or anything else. This all has me rediculously excited. I was just trying to get across how seriously frustrating it is.

I agree. The login system rely's on your browser appropriately setting and sending the HTTP-REFERE header; which does not happen in certain cases. We are going to investigate an alternative process to guarantee you return to the correct page.

Title for topic, it doesn't keep you logged in...I've had no difference in the amount of time I stay logged in til the website automatically logs me out and I have to log back in again. My assumption was that the option did what it says and keeps me logged in until I logout/clear my cookies on this computer.
Correct me if I'm wrong...

It does not. I've tried it on three different browsers at four separate machines. It's quite irritating.

Neither does it work for me but while it is an annoyance, I do not stay online all that long to be affected by it, really. Besides it is only a quite few seconds to log back in and navigate to whatever thread I was planning on replying to.

I use the newest version of Chrome, and it works fine for me. I can actually see it automatically re-load the page every so often to keep me logged in. Haven't tried any other browsers, so I don't know if it works with them or not.

I've tried on several different computers, I log in at the main page (keep me logged in box is checked), then i head for the forums and get logged out.
When logging in once again I stay logged in.
