Updated main post.

-Theory and predictions-
From Ask the Dev 18 Answers

Q: Any plans on adding a 55ton mech? [Hodo]
A: Yes. [Garth]

Next medium 'mech has to come from this list...

http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Shadow_Hawk
http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Kintaro
http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Dervish
http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Griffin
http://www.sarna.net...28BattleMech%29
http://www.sarna.net...28BattleMech%29
http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Hoplite

Take out the reseen, and the most likely candidates are Dervish, Kintaro, and the Gladiator. Hoplite can go sit in the cold :P

You left off the Enforcer. It is in this time period. Meets minimum requirements (if you use one of its customs builds as the 3'rd build) and its just a really good med with JJs!

Guessing Enforcer will eventually make it into the game as it is THE signature davion medium mech. Sort of like a vindicator is for house Liao.

Assault:

King Crab: 100 tonnes of urban warfare death. In a built up area it'll pretty much toast light and medium mechs and give assault mechs a severed headache. It lacks any real long range punch with the pair of Ac20s taking up most of the room for weapons, leaving just the LRM15 and large laser to punch out at range.

Thug Under armed for it's class, but I'm going with it more for the looks tbh.

I wonder why the ComGuards Mechs like Crap, KingCrap, Thug, Highlander, Blacknight, are mentioned over and over in what Mechs will come next Threads...
Are there so few people reading the Devposts and the again and again linked recources ???
First they are extinced Star League Mechs that are curently not available for the Inner Sphere, because the ComGuards still are to be unveiled by ComStar. The only Mechs that can possibly make it into the Game are this: TRO 3025 http://www.sarna.net/wiki/TRO:3025
This: TRO 3039: http://www.sarna.net...l_Readout:_3039
And the most anticipated one 3050: http://www.sarna.net...al_Readout_3050
And this TRO 3055 http://www.sarna.net/wiki/TRO:3055
And maybe at some Time : TRO 3058 http://www.sarna.net/wiki/TRO:3058

So there are vast ammounts of easy to find recources how the Battletech Universe works, and what stompy Robots you could drive and what not. The Devs said it over and over. They'll stick to canon. So stop demanding Things out of canon all of you can i haz Highlanderz pleaz

"Enforcer - Since we know the Centurion is in, why not add in the other FedSuns staple trooper, since they were designed to work in tandem. Great medium-range direct fire platform, my personal 'Mech of choice (that or a Dervish.)"

Technically, the centurion was designed as the sister unit to the trebuchet; with the idea being that a lance with 2 cents, 2 trebbies can respond at any range. Both are actually in use more in the Free Wolrds League than the fed suns.

The Enforcer is cool in its own right though, and would work in place of a cent for the pairing, especially if the trebs were the jumping variant. Now, pair this guy up with some blackjacks... there is a moble fire support group (and davion favorites). Or even better, pair it with some victors and jump down from cliffs on enemy lances at close range, hehe.

Yes the Centurion and Trebuchet were designed by the same company to work together.
No, the FWL does not use the Centurion as its factory is in Davion space.
The Enforcer is the next most common medium mech in Davion forces after the Centurion.

Edit- gettin my mechs strait.

For me number 1 has to be the SHADOW HAWK a 55ton all rounder that is described on sarna as

A superior BattleMech for commanding a reconnaissance company or serving as a spotter for heavy and assault lances, the Shadow Hawk is a proven and capable design that has served with distinction for five centuries.

(5 centuries not too bad for an old timer)

other than that would like to see the MARUDER/RIFFLEMAN (though we have the jagger mech coming so will be happy with that) WARHAMMER and WOLVERINE.

I think it's not so much forgetting about the unseen but wishing it was otherwise.

No, sorry. Got the tech readout 3025 right here. The centurion and trebbie were made by Corean Enterprises, and the Cent's overview specifically states that it was made to pair with the trebuchet.
The enforcer was produced by Achernar Battlemechs, and was pretty much commisioned by a memer of the Davion Family. It is far more common in Fed Suns forces than the centurion (despite the warrior trilogy), and among mediums is followed by the blackjack and dervish (which is davions med missile mech far more often than trebbies).
On a side note, its probable that the enforcer is a redesign of star league era (?) enfields (which davion would produce again later), though I'm not sure on that. Its merely states that is was based on'detailed plans', enfield is just my guess.

What I meant with my earlier comments was that an enforcer was a good substitute for a centurion in most areas, so it would also pair well with the trebbie, especially the jump model. but then, it already has the dervish for that.

It seems i got some Enforcer and Centurion cross pollenantion going on. What i get for posting from work.
But the Enfeild entry in the 3058 TRO will confirm your side note.

The Centurion is still THE most common FS medium mech, followed by the Enforcer.

Besides all the old homegrown 'mechs that won't make it in from your list (ex. Gladiator) these 4 mechs have various issues preventing their inclusion as well.

Kodiak is a Clan Assault 'Mech, Thunder Hawk it outside of the timeline (won't start being reproduced till the mid 3050's), the Men Shen doesn't see the light of day until the early/mid 3060's AND it's an omnimech (meaning it's tech isn't developed until after the Clans hit.)
