Man, a lot of rose coloured glasses around these parts.

This is not what reviewers say:

It received near universal praise from game reviewers and has been described as one of the greatest game soundtracks of all time. It is generally considered to be a cult classic of game music.

Jeehun Hwang has an excellent resume. He worked with James Cameron.

That track was all fine and dandy but doesn't have the right feel for this version of Mechwarrior. MWO is heavier, grittier, less forgiving and far more chaotic than any of the other titles in the series that I have seen so far. Just watching the videos, for example when the Atlas and Warhammer are going at it, man that's a CowBell moment not Zippy Zither time. The sound track needs a heavy feel, like the music from the video of the Atlas being orbitally inserted from the dropship. I would suggest someone more like Da Rude if you want to keep the synthisier feel of the music but I would hope for something a little more, perhaps Ramstein from Germany could cobble something together.

With a modern sample library...I'm sure he'd create an awesome fantastic soundtrack.
