Good to see the gap's pretty small. Was mildly concerned the departure of those with little to no loyalty to the IS and / or shiny object syndrome would end up gutting the IS factions and Mercs. Now, I have nothing but respect for those who intend to play Clans because they ARE Clan, and will be unable to do so for several months and must suffer on as deep cover recon in the IS.

The others... well, I look forward to salvaging their mechs, more than usual.

Give me not Shiny New Toys, for I do not need them. Although, the weapons and mechs of those who leave will look better when loyal IS pilot them!

Im def going to the clans. The path of honor awaits those that are willing to take its challenges. Now i just have to decide if i want to led under a shinny smoke jaguar mech or a repulsive jade falcon...... Decisions

I hope the Clans only show up as AI / NPC.

Just so that we can hear more whining from people who hate problem-solving through teamwork.

Personally, i made side more with the clans just for the toys. I prefer being a 'consultant' than being fully in it for the honor. Who ever pays more will be the clan or IS house i side with.

As long as i get ahold of some clan XL engine tech i'll be happy.

The sad thing is the could of done the 3015 and still have the clans. They could of just split the game into two maps. You have a inner sphere character and the it would be normal Battletech, and then have the a clan character in the pre-invasion era. Most of the Clan Mechs had been around for years by the time the invasion happened to the point they were having an era of technology stagnation. It also would of made balance worlds easier as you have clan mechs vs clan mechs and IS vs IS.

I wouldn't mind to have a Clan game set in the Golden Century, we would start in SL mechs and gradually see all the tech developing.
It would kick *** to drive around in a Woodsman or a Wakazashi.

either if i go with clanners or not, anyone who honors Zellbrigen will have it returned.

that said, i really like the Summoner/Hellbringer Chassis, if the IS had something comparable (both in looks and loadout) then i'd be sweet.

How are the devs going to give us our Timber Wolf? Those missile pods are going to be mighty tempting to shoot.

Perhaps they'll add on the same type of door mechanism as seen on the Catapult? ^_^

Not interested in being a Clan member, myself. I am interested in salvaging Clan tech and installing the goodies on some unassuming IS chassis. Will be a nice surprise for whatever poor schlub gets in my way.

When I first got into Battletech/Mechwarrior I fell in love with Clan Coyote, so that is my final destination.

I think all of the people with clan names should have a trial of bloodright so only a max of 25 hazens or Kerensky's or wards can exist on this forum. Everyone else would lose their false second name. (also note that I just think the clans were rather stupid, and will stay in Liao.)
