Anyone using this? I need to replace my antiquated Cyborg 3d joystick, and this looked like a decent possibility.
Thanks.

i have a rat 7 and love it. all parts are movable, and there are 2 extra buttons on the side (especially helpfull for more then 2 weapon groupings). also has a bunch of other handy features. i highly recommend it!!

I have the rat 7. I havent really tinkered with the adjustments because right out of the box i loved it. Well built and i have it teamed up with the cyborg keyboard and it makes a great combo. It also has a stock configured button that slows down your scroll speed to help steady your aim during sniping moments. LOVE the mouse for BF3 and couldnt go back to what i was using before.

I use the rat 9 , awesome mouse and you get 2 batteries with it, when seeing it first in a trailer I thought the adjustible parts were just a gimmick, but it works very ergonomicly, I prefer it above the razer mamba, You can really adjust the rat to a full grip, which makes your hand sit very comfortably.

Razer itself is coming with a Rat-like mouse....copycats maybe?

I have looked at the Rat a couple of times, but I actually went with the Razer Naga. Its really nice to have all your weapon groups and other basic controls at your thumb. I'd say see if you like it http://store.razerzo...goryId.54536600.

this is exactly right.....pretty common for me to have 4 different weapon groups all assigned to my mouse.....I would strongly recommend the RAT 7.....even the cord for it is braided so it does'nt get all tangly.

I started out with a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro X30, but now I'm back to mouse and keyboard. I can't stand how clunky and slow it feels. I actually have the R.A.T. 7 mouse from the Cyborg series that I use, it works fantastic.

I read a ton of reviews on Amazon about the rat 7 & 9, and didn't buy one because of the tracking issues a lot of people wrote about. Does anyone have those issues, was there a fix since the reviews? I've always wanted one since I saw the first one, but don't want a lemon.

I have the 7... you can set the tracking speed wayyyy down at the touch of a button. The look, the features, the quality of construction A+. Best mouse I have EVER used. i hear the 9 has even more.

The biggest problem I have with the RAT7 is the buttons I use to proc my mic on Vent. Mouse Button 5 I think. The ones on the left side, have a mind of their own. Sometimes they'll work, other times I can be mashing the button and I'll get nothing. But beyond that, I love the adjustable sensitivity and the responsiveness.

I have the rat 7 and absolutely love the thing. I've pretty much got it as spread out as far as it can since my hands aren't exactly small. I've had it since May and the only issue I've got with it is my right mouse button is very sensitive. It still works well but the internal no longer has the click sound or feeling. I'll keep using and adjust to it.

Got the rat 7 a few weeks back after feeling it once and thinking "wow, nice". My hand needs to adjust to it still, but I definitely like it so far. Buttons are nice to reach and have a good click to them. It's pricey, but I don't like the shape of most other mice.

My experience with the R.A.T was less than stellar. I had buttons give up after less than 6 months of use. ;)

I have the rat 7 and it works great, best mouse I have ever bought. Went with the rat 7 over the rat 9 because I hate when wireless mice batteries start to fail and they get all glitchy and start to do weird things, then you have to have extra batteries laying around, just too much of a pain in the *** for me.

For MWO, the sniper button works EXCELLENT when aiming at a target with max zoom across the map. It really allows you to put your shots where you want. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a new mouse.
