So we got the Centurion now, a pretty fun mech. Do we get to have the Trebuchet too? Aren't they supposed to be partners?

I thought the Trebuchet was primarily a House Marik machine, While the Centurion was mostly a Davion Mech.

Maybe you're thinking dervish? I'm kind of expecting another davion 'mech as the next one. If I had to say... Javelin. Maybe Victor or Cyclops.

From Sarna's article on the Trebuchet:

Quote

The Centurion was originally designed as an "operating partner" for the Trebuchet, but the start of the First Succession War largely interrupted those plans.

Both 'Mechs are built by (among others) Corean Enterprises, which has facilities in both realms - the Centurion is made at facilities on New Avalon (FedSuns), and the Trebuchet at facilities on Stewart (FWL).
So, it makes sense that they, at least, would (if even to a limited degree) sell both 'Mechs to both sides (especially if said 'Mechs are indeed meant to be complements)

The Centurion's other manufacturers are in the FedSuns, while the Trebuchet's other manufacturers are in the FWL.

Wasn't the catapult the replacement for the Trebuchet?

Either the Trebuchet or the Dervish would be a nice addition.

Or a re-Reseen Rifleman... ;-)
