Now imagine House Liao vs teams that are actually good. Not so pretty anymore is it.

There is one team I know of out there who I wouldn't call good but I'd say they're "able to not be completely slaughtered at all times." It's not the Black Company.

But... I don't even have any desire to 'win'.

Defending my home from outside aggression, enlightening others about our great culture and freeing capellan citizens from davie 'liberation' are my only wishes.
At least when I'm not following the will of the capellan people, expressed through her benevolence, Romano Liao.
Thankfully, what I wish for and what I'm ordered to do isoften the same thing.

(OOT: I'm sure every faction has their share of good and bad players. Only time can tell who will truly win.)

Sure, Liao with a massive organized force will have significant battlefield clout, and will chalk-up myriad victories... but you know who has even more clout?

The authors of the BattleTech books :P

This is unfortunate, given the average quality of the books. :angry:

I just like the insanity lol

People discount the insane, ignore them. Like the crazy Jenners on the battlefield. You ignore them they either sneak up behind you and hump you to death or go cap.

If you want insane, join the clans. Or the fedsuns. Liao is about calm, stalking cunning, like a non-japanese pan-asian with a dash of russia ninja.

Edit: How many posts is it on a page? I've gotten like 10+ first posts on second pages

I ignore Jenners because they're not to be chased by Awesomes. Leave that up to the scouts. I need to shoot mans in the face.

House Liao will definitely be a strong opponent. They've got 3 of the more important ingredients for succes:
- A loyal, fanatical (rabid) fanbase;
- Good organization;
- Lotsa Russians. :P
My view on it? As long as they pay well and respect their contracts, they're okay in my book. $$$ :D

You know this thread was made by an (ex)Rasalhaguian right?

And really, the tooting here is nothing compared to the Davion forums. The difference is we actually have something to toot about.

Once I realized we arent gonna be able to fight on storyline worlds, that kinda killed the lure of staving off the clans for the FRR for me given that all but what 8 worlds IN the FRR would BE storyline worlds?

cool an "international gaming community" that I have literally never heard of

Intelligence report puts their operational battle strength at ONE confirmed company with a maximum potential of THREE companies if they actually went full steam into MWO.

I'm not sure why the poster was zomging over the size of this unit?

Organised lances are going into battle regularly now, I suggest more of you join them on Teamspeak and in game.
