Is fellow lovers of BT and I assume other Sci-Fi and cutting edge real world technology I thought I would post some links I found to be intriguing.
I was just browsing around randomly and came upon this web series:
Its one of the first pieces of fiction that explores the subject of Transhumanism, a subject I find both fascinating and terrifying. This is just a basic Hollywood treatment of the subject thus farm but its interesting to see it becoming more and more mainstream. Don't know about Transhumanism? You should really research it, I suggest this book as a starting place:
The Age of Spiritual Machines : When Computers Exceed Human Intelligence by Ray Kurzweil
http://www.abebooks....tual%2Bmachines
Of course Wikipedia may be just as good a place to start. If you haven't been keeping up with this subject you should really investigate as experts in the various fields involved say this will be happening within our lifetimes (maybe even as soon as 10 years).
The next link I wanted to share is more mecha related I suppose. Words can't really describe it, just take a look at this (and other) videos of amazing "living sculptures"!!!
I hope you all enjoy these links, please post your favorite science or sci-fi links

That H+ Episode is very Dues Ex like, very cool. When implants become more viable and reliable I can see the series happening in the not to distant future.

SCP Foundation is sort of neat. The SCP Foundation is a fictional agency that is tasked with containing anything of paranormal, extraterrestrial, magical, extrauniversal, or extradimensional in nature. It is a open source wiki in which anyone can write a data sheet about an "SCP" (Secure Contain Protect). Some SCP's are harmless and pose no threat while others are a capable of mass extinction. Some are interesting, some are lame, some are nightmare fuel that will never escape your mind. SCP-173 is the original and probably my favorite, as well as the most terrifying. Try not to blink, it only prevents the inevitable.

Type in your favorite TV show or game (such as Battletech) at the search bar, and begin reading. Within an hour, expect to have 12 tabs open. This website isn't healthy.

Collection of articles and videos that are posted daily. Sometimes thought provoking, sometimes educational, normally funny (Seanbaby is hilarious). Science based ones are always the best though. Did you know they discovered a planet made entirely of diamond, and made matter out of literally nothing (zero-point energy is unusable, unseeable, undetectable, so essentially nothing)?

Nice thread. Kurzweil is rather.... out there. However, Transhumanism, more widely, is quite serious and something I've had an interest in for a long time. I was pretty thrilled when I discovered the "Transhuman Space" RPG (uses GURPS), in fact.

SCP is great. *shiver*
The holder series is similar to scp, but is about objects and their holders. It's not a polished as scp, but some of the stories are great nonetheless.
