I'm thinking it would be similar to the other contact methods field except this would be labeled "Unit" instead of "Facebook" for example.

I would be happy if that link could be displayed the user avatar instead. I would rather have that instead of my facebook link honestly.

Signatures are awful. I wish you could turn them off.

You can... Hover over the signature box and a little X appears on the right side of the box.

It will give you the option to ignore SO'N'SO signature or ALL signatures.

Btw. how would you re-enable them, after you chose to ignore all of them?

I would assume by clicking on your Profile link (once logged in), then Edit Profile, and insert a new sig.

hmmm, wait, that only re-enables your personal sig, you mean everyone's sig.

Found it

In Edit Profile, click on the 'Ignore ' Preferences tab under My Settings. The first thing there should be a checkbox that you should be able to unclick with the words "Ignore all signatures when reading topics". Hopefully your's is checked, and just needs unchecking.
