With Battletech being a classic game from the glory days of table top adventuring in the 80s. I am curious to know if there are other 30 y/o like myself on MWO.
My wonderful wife not only allowed me to purchase the Legendary package for $120 but a new Alienware PC with all the bells and whistles.
Long live the Star League!

You need a selection for "divorced" for those of us whose wives made us choose between them and gaming.

Wow you have a supportive wife! ;)
Did you ask what the catch was ;)

Well I'm 22, never played the TT ( that's due to everyone is more interested in space wizards and space orcs aka war hammer )
I'm single so I guess MWO will be my Missus ( turn 'er on press her buttons turn her off again simple )

Very supportive wife you have, a lucky man you are.

I happen to be 19 and sort of grew up with my first game being MW2 and it exploded from there (I still thank my father every day for getting it for me). I eventually found the TT game in a game store that has since closed down and my father caught me staring so he got it for me yet again. And now, Ive shelled out the 120 in support of a new game in the Battletech/Mechwarrior line, maybe Ill find a missus who will be supportive of this, but if not, Im alright with my current Job and MWO.

My wife supports my Wizarding/Mechwarrioring and I support her in her Marathoning/Adventure Racing. Win win all around. Though I get stuck doing the dishes far to often. ;)

Meh... might as well...

45 (46 in Jan)... was all ready to drop $60... sign'd in the day the Founders went on sale... saw the $120 pack and my wife pipes up over my shoulder... "Oh... just go ahead... you know you want it!!"... not to mention end of may/first week of June we retired my old PC and went out and picked up a new one... pretty much, just for MW:O...

Gotta love them wives... as long as "she's a keeper.... " :D

My wife loves me!! My wife loves me!! My wife loves me!!!
We have an understanding, I shower her with love and gifts and she “allows” me to pursuit my recreational activities… in plain English, by allowing me to play MWO, she gets to go buy a few pairs of shoes… see it all works out…. She’s happy, I’m happy!!

Ok , I admit that I am in the minority of the mainstream ages. What bothers me most is the majority of players who had never played the table top game. I miss saying to an opponet "you could'nt roll a 2 with 3 dice."

I'll be 30 in November. I have nobody so MWO will be my lady for now. I played the TT years ago. I even made about 100-200 of my own mechs. Record sheets and all.

Close to the above -- I just turned 47, I've played all the computer Mechwarrior games, including the MW2 "online" battle stuff from the mid-90's, some table-top with friends from work (my wife even painted my 'mechs for me - she's damn good at that stuff!)...so when the Founder packs came out, she said it was fine for me to get the $120 version. I already have a very nice computer to play on so no need to buy any new hardware.

Gratefully, my wife has always somehow put up with my extensive gaming...
