Can we get these graphics ingame?

All of these are un-doctored in-game images.

Aye, the excitement of seeing a geyser plume is not as exciting as seeing new firepower. I appreciate that they're trying to keep enthusiastic with their posts and exclamation points, but if things are a little slow on the shiney new content end, just level with us. It is still in development, stuff happens that slows the release of things we want to see, and from a PR standpoint, I'm sure the bulk majority would rather an honest update than one attempting excitement over a barely visible catapult.

That, or take a picture the foot actuator of one of the in development mechs and leave us to ponder what it could be. Theory crafters would nerdgasm.

All said and done, however, that is one dead catapult.

The thing is though, most of us don't even care to see new mech or new anything. We just want to see something exciting with different mech other than the Atlas lol. Big explosions, a team or jenners hunting! Something being beheaded! And at least give us clear screen shots and not a very small Catapult and the inside of the Atlas's cockpit that we have seen over and over.

Gotta love the idea of a pack of Jenners or Jenners and Commandos thrashing the Assault mechs! In the books it seems that Assault mechs are pretty rare, but it looks like they'll be a common occurance in the MW:O world.

I think a scout or light lance tearing into a stray or damaged Assault would definitely make a great screen shot. It might be a tough capture to get, but it would make a sweet background on my monitor! :D

Looks like the screenshot I suggested :D

I'd also like to see a shot in that city place at the end of the hunchback video.
And I'd still like to see a smiley face lazered onto a mech.

Just because I haven't seen it mentioned yet (though, I might have missed it...):

The screenshot shows an AS7-RS variant of the Atlas.

Quote

A Succession Wars era take on the Atlas II's weapon loadout, the AS7-RS replaces the stock AS7-D's larger autocannon and missile launchers with an Autocannon/10, LRM-15 and SRM-4, and trades the four Medium Lasers for a Large Laser mounted in each arm. The swap leaves the armor levels, heat sinks and ammunition bays unchanged.

So... how many variants will be in-game for each 'Mech? :P

HAHA!! The devs do it again!!

Devs: "Hey what do you want to see as a screen shot?"

Community: "Anything but an Atlas."

Devs: "Here is your screenshot!" (the cockpit of an Atlas)

Yet another Atlas, isn't it enough that their already all over the shop and in your face. I'm yet to see anything outside of the founder based chassis being played or used, would love to see scouts ripping it up or a medium lance advancing... why even a screenshot inside a jenner ON the new River City would've been more potent and relevant to the current state of the information released to date.

I would like a snowy ambush scene (perhaps against an Atlas), bright-lasers screaming through the the gentle snowfall as an unsuspecting predator turns prey. His 100 tons of arrogance reduced to ash and flame!

(urban with rooftop support maybe?)
