Even at 1280x1024 though on max settings it's going to tax your CPU. Performance scales up quickly with additional cores and hyper-threading. Single core CPU's can pretty much go home. However, certainly you should be able to play on a system within the min-specs. The other thing to consider is the speed of the game its self. MWO is not a snappy FPS. Lower 25-30fps might end up being a lot more acceptable. Also to note the 19200x1200 (avg) in the test. The OP's Notebook, considering its hardware configuration probably puts screen res around 1280x800.

Don't question the man, he has a chart :)

...and he's not afraid to use it :o

Seriously though, look at the contrasted links given between us. It really shows the advantage in CPU load in DX11 over DX9, all the more reason to just leave DX9 dead and burried and move on.

Since MWO's a PC-only title, I'm sure there will be a post-DX9 client, so that does pretty much guarantee these people with slower CPUs won't have a problem. It's good news :)

Say, short of buying and running Crysis 2, is there any (free) way of testing whether your PC will be able to run CryEngine 3 well enough for your tastes?
