Unseen mechs will be in the game, but due to copy right issues with harmony gold (still) the unseen mechs will not be rendered in game. So when you 'target' an unsee, you only see the red box designating that you target a mech. You will have to guess at where the hit boxes are due to the unseen being unseen.

Wouldn't that change their canon nomenclature to NoSeeums? :)

The unit A.C.E.S. is in fact an acronym and they know exactly what it means.

On another note, the Clans will not invade. They will instead come over for tea and a good time will be had by all.

Due to a design error, the Atlas was scaled at 1/10 in size, but retains it's firepower and armour.

The full release of MWO will feature not only canon 'Mechs but a variety of new designs including the WHN-34 "Whiner" which will give players whose 'Mechs are destroyed the ability to debuff the opposing team by complaining on their Vent channel, the TRL-87 "Troll" which has no mounts for weapons and instead destroys enemies with witty retorts, the CKN-54 "Chuck Norris" which has no weapons or armor and is in fact Chuck Norris, and of course the JLN-17 "Jeremy Lin" which has the ability to come out of nowhere and blow people away.

I was really hoping the PPC would shoot the nyan cat as a trail like this.

With the new Speculation on 3 new Mech games on the horizon: 3 new Speculations

1: In a fierce fight for customers; Piranha Games unleashes the nameless one on the IGP offices in a right of possession trial.

2: for unknown reasons upon release MechAssault has the feel of a Pokeman game, and 1950's Easter egg hunts, as members search for Castle Brains. only to find hello kitty prizes

3: An Independent Movement has been noticed by Big Brother, and all undeclared pilots internet traffic will now be closely monitored for UrbieZombielovebug infections

We've all dealt with it. The regular forum-goers that get their knickers in a bunch over the latest developer blog, the new guys and gals that show up here with completely unsubstantiated rumors and assumptions, and, of course, a few trolls, whom you should never feed. (I'm looking at you, Tsen!)

But what is to be done about the wild speculation that roams untamed all over the net? I tried my hand at damage control on a few Mechwarrior-related YouTube videos, but there's just so much jibberish being spewed out by the floppity-jillion uninformed mouth breathing curmudgeons out there. It's like playing Whack-a-mole.

Maybe this will all be sorted out in the next several months as we inch closer to release day, but I'd still like to try to set the record straight. Anyone else fighting an uphill battle online or offline?

~
Edit: Thanks mods for moving my "serious response to rumors" thread into the "silly start your own rumor" thread which I already contributed to with my own jibberish. That makes sense...

It will be integral to the UrbanMechs that we will all be forced to pilot exclusively on "Urbie Day 2013". Mark your calendars so you don't miss out; April 01, 2013.

I do every day.

That being said, this should probably be merged with the other speculation thread.

The newest sponsor for MWO is Duralast Auto Batteries. Now while attempting to start-up your 'Mech's battery will occasionally be dead requiring a team-mate to give you a jump-start, this can be avoided by installing a Duralast battery which you can purchase for $19.99.

Friendly fire or not following the commander (who is a screechy teenager with a poor mic) orders results in immediate execution.

Laugh out loud. Gotta hate that stuff.
