Though I admit a majority of topics were absurd, a couple held some substance,. Weapons convergence and and Commander abilities. Though we do not know how Commander abilities pan out till we have beta, I see weapons convergence as a make or break for me in this game.

Wow.. thread made it 24 hrs.. went 2 pages and is on the first page of the gen disc still. Ok so here is my next wild speculation prediction

There will be both LAMS and quad mechs.

The only Quad mech available will be the TNA-PNY, and it will look like a My little pony and ONLY fire rainbows and hugs.

And the only LAM available will be a winged version of the above.

Also, neon ground effects and paint scheme to match.

Firstly, Pamela Anderson will get the media gig for MWO. She will star in a video with tight facial close ups in a mech cockpit fighting in a Solaris match. After getting awesome killshot on final opponent, she says "Insert super one-liner catch phrase here" as the camera slowly pans out to reveal (keeping it PG-13) she is in the cockpit of a thanatos, which is removing a bra and 'voguing'.

My wild speculation is that there will be some sort of program installed on the forums that will automatically analyze your new post to see if it is a repeat post. Once you hit three repeat posts it will automatically post in the proper forum, reduce your member status to noob, adjust your forum post count to negative 50, and auto-send you a search function tool bar that you have to use before any more posts.

1- Chuck Norris will approve this game (WoW style)
2-All the devs get a Urbie with a Light N-Gauss.
3-On April Fool's Day, Kyle (you remember Kyle... the website support guy... the guy who keeps these fourms away from ComStar...) will write a script putting one of Paul's Trolololo posts into every topic, all 3893 of them, instantly giving him the highest post count, the highest chance of trolling someone, and the highest chance of putting off fresh mea... New Wild Speculation from Omi:

Our player base is a close tight nit community and there will NEVER be greifers or people who disregard the game and its intended mechanics and all thought of self gain save for the satisfaction hey get from making other players lives miserable in order to do so.

So you can add in all the mechanics you want no mater of how easily they can be abused, because no one will ever use them for the simple purpose of making people QQ (rage quit) or be upset.

I heard from my best friend, who heard it from a guy who said he was the cousin of one of the devs that there would be Kinect support which would include certain peripherals which you could fit to yourself in order to feel like you were actually a mech, allowing you to stomp around your living room & fire your PPCs by saying "PEW PEW".
