That is cool cus some times I walk around my barracks like a mech (usually a marauder or a warhammer, that way im unseen and they cant see me doing this) and make "Psh!" noises because I pretend I shoot PPC's from my fingertips!

I hear speculation that to continue to invigorate the reboot campaign for the Mechwarrior Franchise, PGI will be incorporating elements from Japanese anime to include:

• Doe eyed characters with short skirts and flowered undies.
  
• Male protagonists that are dripping with angst and inner turmoil.
  
• disproportionately large swords.
  
• Little cute alien sidekicks
  
• Lastly... All Mechs will be given fully articulating hands.

Oh, and... As a result of public outcry, all Mechs will not only be able to side-step but through an unprecedented agreement with Microsoft, we will be able to, via Kinect support, be played in Dance Dance Evolution.

Yeah... I had to avert my eyes as scrolled past that image. It gave me the ******* like the first time you see someone slam their finger in a car door.

I think they are going to come out with special MWO hardware needed to play. What it is, is an electronic dice tower. Every ten seconds your game will stop and you dump a bunch of dice into the tower. Then, the special dice tower reads all your dice rolls to decide wether or not all your actions where succesful. Then the game resumes and you can see the result of your actions! Yay for no twitch! This is a f2p game though, so you can opt for not using it and use the ingame rng but that thing always rolls poorly. So save your money for you official MWO dice towers! they gotta make money somehow!

PGI is going to bet the entire future of this game on a special controller. It'll be this monster platform that spans the width of most office desks. There'll be two sticks, 20 buttons, keyboard, and two MFDs (Multifunction display). The game itself will be free to play, but in order to play it, we'll need to purchase this controller for $299.

I wouldn't want to play on Cheney's team. He'd probably accidentally shoot your 'mech in the cockpit.

I was going to say disco lasers too! I think that they're going to allow torso based cockpits which will free up room to make the head of my mech into an actual disco-ball of lasers that will shoot off all willy-nilly at anything that does or does not move.

I predict that the Solaris 7 Expansion Pack is going to be the introduction of close combat. People will be able to build Arena Mechs that they may choose to have also as their main mech (a la Yen-Lo-Wang), or as a seperate mech solely for the arena. Hatchets, swords, mining drills, reinforced forestry chainsaws, impact hammers, balls and chains, fist spikes, torso spikes, codpiece spikes, all of this will come about 6 months after the release of MWO. Tina Turner will be there and the audience will shout, "Two mechs enter! One mech leaves!" and when you blow the armored head of the atlas open you'll see the innocent, drooling face of a newborn babe.
