Using the paper model from MW3.org as a template, I am almost done with my MW4 Flea made out of styrene plastic.

I prefer this version to the original. Love it actually.

@ Caballo: What snap button?

@Adridos: Why? It is so....ugly. :)

@Kodiak: I use Evergreen sheet styrene. For the main body I use 0.5 mm thickness...then varying thicknesses for armor shapes. If I feel the shapes do not have enought structural integrity, I will back fill with resin to make them more solid.

@Cooper: Thanks bro...you keep raising the bar and I will keep shooting for it!

That piece is from an old jet airplane model. It is 1/2 of the tire/rim combo.

This is so awesome, how tall will it be? I wish I still had the patience for something like this, I'd have me a 1 foot tall Madcat and an Atlas :ph34r:

Edit: And a Vulture

Really, this mech doesn't get enough attention. Move over trash cans, bubonic plague coming through!

I agree with Lord Trogus, the Flea is understated and often looked over but it does have it's uses and not target practice

Well, you need to take into account the BT Universe and not just MW for this one really. The Flea is mainly a non-mech support mech. Its used to reinforced light guard stations, camps, infantry/tank battalions, etc. Its not really meant for heavy mech to mech combat, but its not useless either in light vs light fights. With 2 flamers the mech can hopefully shut down another light fairly quickly, allow it to be kept shut down if the flamers do their job, or to be taken out by the ground units its supporting.

Other uses too...just none that come to my head other than that.

Its a decent scout, and can probably wreak havoc with supply lines.

It does indeed do an outstanding job of ripping small support vehicles to shreds and get out of dodge before the "Big Brother" finds out.
