- I used to have a Clint in a Mechforce-Chapter. I called it Eastwood.
- My Raven - I called it K.I.T.T. (wrote an article in a fanzine then about an LCAF-Pilot, that got hand on one of this things and was simply overstained by the electronic devices inside that Capellan design. Steiners are simple)

If I could get my hands on a Zeus ZEU-5T I'd call it "Steiners Legacy". Simply because you cant get more Steiner then piloting a Zeus, and that mech generally just rocks.

My Penetrator PTR-6T in my CBT lance is called "Schild des Tharkad" (Shield of Tharkad), which is not very surprising considering my house alignment.

Mechs encountered that are far too strong for me to take on my own are generally known as GUNDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMS (nsfw notes: has swearing at end.)

Before I ripped out her guts and hopfully washed out the cockpit, I had a Stalker we nicknamed 'Christine' because she killed my pilot, another pilot of a different player in my lance, and severely wounded a third player's pilot. As I recall, that last incident was from a botched seatbelt check from an otherwise virutally harmless attack.

That's the least dirty nickname for a Stalker I've seen yet.

I had a Trebuchet called "Woodchipper", because everyone called them Tree Buckets.

Between the Scat, the walking pencil, the trash can and the half-dozen glass jaws? Hmm... oh, I remember: Gladbags. It's as if the Gladiator came straight out of MechWarrior 3's MechLab. Honestly.

I've also heard those being called "The apartment that walks like a man".

Azrael (Islamic angel of death) or Morrigan (Irish goddess of death, war, strife, and for some reason fertility) would both be cool 'Mech nicknames.

I piloted a Warhammer IIC named Deadmeat. Nickname earned by brushing death a ridiculous amount of times, had to run out of luck sometime... and so she did.

By and large my mechs were named by other players, who interacted with the 'mech in a terminal way. I used to have a Gunslinger named 'Bait' because we were ambushing some JF vat-heads and my rookie **** was shoved into a gunslinger with an engine hit to be bait for the trap. It would have worked if I hadn't killed the first two targets to come into range with headshots, making the enemy rage-quit the campaign.

Likewise I had a Jenner named "Hoppy Prigg" based on a 101 level tactic I used on tactless noinks who thought firepower was everything (mostly clanners who came into the hex from MW 2 for PC).

One of my rookie players who made me super proud has a hunchback he calls "Anvilator" because of the effect the main cannon had on a panther in his first game.

Here are a few of mine.

"Belial" Uziel (my namesake)

"Freakazoid" Marauder IIC (good Lord this one was a beast)

"Avatar" Atlas (my Atlas was blue so everyone who has seen it recently thought I copied the Avatar movie. Idiots. BT and my Atlas came out way before that movie, but you can't tell new kids anything.)

"Ravager" Thanatos (oddly, it has the same design in both MW4 and CBT. It's more effective in CBT though.)

I've always liked "Big Al" for Atlases.

I met one guy who'd named his Myst Lynx (Koshi) "Sue" because someone told him that the "Ko-" prefix for small had a young female connotation to it. (Making the Daishi the "Great Death" and the Koshi the "Little Girl Death")
