I have a neon pink Jenner whom I have titled "the Man Van" for no reason whatsoever.

I also have a Hussar who's always managed to get blown up by friendly artillery in TT campaigns. I have since nicknamed him "Lucky."

I have a trusty Raven named Sputnik, as it was always the first to locate and encounter enemy forces, and a jet-black BAP-equipped Uziel named Phantasma, used exclusively for night ops.

My most useless mech ever. A Firemoth (Dasher) stripped of everything and bumped to full engine power. Utterly useless, best name ever. Sleipnir.

My main computers have always been named "Alice". I am up to Alice IV now as far as computers go so I don't see why I wouldn't name a mech that either, maybe I am just weird.

The Awesome I called "The Beast" because it was murder on the table top.
I call my Grizzly "old friend" because whenever I play as a Ghost Bear I ride that or the Kodiak.
The Hunchback I call "Magikarp" because lately at the tables it always fails the PSR and can't get up, so it just flounders and flops sadly while people fight.

My longest running mech was a Vulture called I'M.A.MONSTER.

I also had a Fafnir named Fluffy
Battlemaster named Elbow Deep (not in the best taste, I know)

There were a few others, but they're even more obscene.

A MSK-5S Mackie called "Gunther".

A Nova/Black Hawk-KU/Supernova named "Sauna" or "The Sauna".

A PNT-9R Panther named "Smoky". (Yes, as in Smoke Jaguar.)

And an LCT-1E Locust called "World Bearer's Bane".

In MW4, I have a mix-tech victor config that carries 2er large lasers, one er ppc, a heavy guass, and a clan guass a friend of my named Jesus. When I asked why he called it Jesus, he said with me driving it, it'll make a believer out of anyone.
My very first highlander config(2 erll, 1 clan guass, one heavy guass) I named Daddy, just because it was the start of my highlander driving career.

I think it was the Stinger I said I'd name WIng Zero, since it reminds me of a Gundam.

And the Valkyrie...erm...Folkker or Hunter...or Skull One. Looks like a Veritech to me.

That would be because the original unseen Valkyrie was a direct artwork copy of the VF-1S veritech from Macross. The Stinger was the VF-1A.

My personal Bushwhacker bore the title of "Shotgun Gorilla" for a good while, while my ridiculously silly Behemoth II custom bears the name of 'Spambot'. It's always fun to pull it out on unsuspecting players predicting a Railgun-focused mech.

Well, too bad then, since railguns don't exist in BattleTech.
(They're coilguns, technically speaking.)

In MW2:Mercs, the Sentinel mech used to have very large and weakly armored cockpit I would call them "instant salvage"

the Flashman mech also had similar properties IIRC

Played a Steiner-variant Banshee that I started calling 'Sathanas' after the nearly-unstoppable Shivan juggernaughts from Freespace 2.

When I started playing the Raven for the FRR, I named it 'Veðrfölnir', after the hawk that perches atop an eagle in the World Tree, from Norse myth. That setup was my favorite, so it seemed appropriate that I take that name for my avatar when I found out about MWO.
