The question was would it run – and it will.

The question was not would it run well – and it will not.

RAM
ELH

Best scenario is crawling and overheating rather than running.

Anyone saying it won't run, or won't run well is a 'tard.

I had MWO running on 2 gigs of RAM while I was waiting for my 2x 4Gig sticks to be RMA'd. Ran the game on full settings and it ran just fine.

Crawling would be not running well, but overheating is unlikely.

Yes, but that probably has more to do with the rest of your system than just the 2GB…

This topic is about RAM. Not the rest of the system.

to anser the will it run question. my friends system is running a 3.1 quad core and only 2 gig of ram. he can run smoothly up to medium settings. BUT it crashes alot because its needing more ram than he has to give. so yes its playable but will crash alot when it needs more than you have. my suggestion get anuther 2 gig stick of ram they are like $25-$35 on newegg depending on what you need.

I resemble that remark!

Yes, it was initially about (system) RAM, but then people asked about video cards as well. Nevertheless whether the game runs well on 2GB or not has significantly more to do with the rest of the system than with the actual amount of RAM.

(imagine how confusing this would be if RAM spoke in the third person)

Seriously, you could pick up a 4gb stick of ram for about $30 - just do that then get a founders pack.

All that matters is video cards in most games but maybe half of the requirement wont cut it. :)
