Isn't that Puma from MW3?
And the unidentified Mauler is from MW2:M (the same for all MW2 IS mechs here - most of mechs in MW2 where clanners).
BTW, I never heard about that MC:DM. Is it an expansion? Is it good? I still have the boxed MC Gold here but I have no idea if it works on Windows 7.
PS: and I'm impressed by your knowledge.
PPS: That Thor was really based in the MW3 one, but some clown put a Draconis logo on it.
PPPS: the same for the Vulture.
(It's like putting the US roundel in a Mig... I don't like it)
Thanks for the correction!
Puma is definitely from MW4:M. It was redesigned by David White to have a more protruding "head" and a waist, the MW3 version had legs attached directly to the hull. Which I found silly personally - why would you
not have a torso twist in a mech, especially since those mechs could torso twist in TT even with the minis modeled like that) - and I'm glad MW4 and MWO are abandoning that design decision.
You can check
mr. White's gallery here. He was commissioned to do more... palatable redesigns of ancient mech drawings for all parts of MW4, like mr. Iglesias is for MWO. For the most part, it was a splendid job IMO (his Cauldron-Born with a waist and a slightly off-set cockpit is a thing of beauty, too bad that thing handled like a Mauler in-game).
MechCommander: Desperate Measures is simply the name of expansion to MechCommander, it's part of MechCommander Gold as "Expansion Campaign".
Also it's worth noting that .gifs for even the "older" mechs (those released with MW4, for example) come from MW4M and MCDM, simply because those versions have superior graphics. I simply included the name of the earliest game you could play them in their respective (mini)series.
